I can feel your heartbeat, I know you're somewhere out there...1
Under the moonlight
in the midst of the scents of the forest
Comforting
Familiar
I feel you are near.
Amongst my brethren and kin
I hear your heartbeat somewhere close by
Where?
Running through the forest
Swifter than the wind
my thoughts are flying to you
can you feel them?
I search every tree and hollow
Hunting, seeking out your scent
I will find you.2
The time is drawing near
I raise my voice and sing to the moon
a long slow howl
I'm calling you, listen.3
Your time is coming
I am the eyes that follow you in the darkness
I am looking, I am searching.
I am hungry.4
I will find you.5

Very Wolfy ^^
I liked that, it describes a hunting wolf well! -
This reminds me of Twilight, the series.. Anyways, I though this was fantastic and you did a great job capturing "Wolves", running in the darkness using their scent above all other senses.
Great job!

I love wolves, and I love this poem!
You have captured both the essence of a wolf, and also the feelings around them, this was really good!
Your imagery was lovely, and I liked the uneven flow, it seemed to work for this kind of poem. I really loved this, well done!

captures the uncaring aspect of the predator and the inevitability of the prey to escape...well done....

Great
Wolves are lovely animals and I really like the way you pulled off a wolf in mid hunt. You seemed to sort of contrast an intimacy with his prey with a determination to hunt them. It was interesting in that way.
