I don't know yet

"Come down to greet your mother she'll be here any minute now." Shouts Nanny from below in the kitchen. I lope down the freshly polished stairs. They remind me of my Mum. She always used to polish the stairs. About three times a day and it made them very sticky. Granny only does them twice every year though.1

I am in my very best dress. It has a beutiful silk rose pinned to the middle and a siuous vine of the same roses down all the way to the bottom. The bottom of it looks a little freyed but that is part of the ellegant design. My hair is neatly tied back in a spledid rich red ribbon hanging by my two ears. I have a matching pair of white socks and a glossy red shoes to match with my dress.2

I am very excited but also nervous. My mum is coming to see me for the very first time in nine years. She divorced my dad when was two and both disappeared leaving me in the kitchen.3

I was reported by someone for crying every night and they soon found me. Ever since, they have put out a search for both of them. Mum was all they found. She's to come round for dinner and take me from nanny and raise me, although I'm already eleven.4

As soon as I get down from the stairs I hear the doorbell ring. Mum is here. I collide into Nanny on her hurry to get to the door. But I am to wait in the dining room for her cause Nanny's going to give her a tour of the house. I quickly duck behind the sofa. I really want to see her then I will wait in the dining room to eat dinner. 5

My nanny quickly perked up her hair and unwound her apron and put it on the chair. Three...Two...One...The door opens.6

But it is not Mum.7
