Love at First Sight

I'm sitting here, waiting on you, wondering if you will ever show3

I don't really know what you look like, or really, if there's anything to know.4

I've always heard about love at first sight; they're in every fairy tale5

I pray that it is real, because my body ails6

With a broken heart, a lost soul, and a scarred pair of wings.7

So I'll wait here on this stool, wondering about you.8

    I'm going to go out on a limb and admit I listen to John Mayer. It reminded me a lot of his song "Love Song For No One". It had about the same message.
    It was simple, so there's not a lot to say. I tend to go more for poems with depth, but sometimes they can cause a headache. So I gues it was refreshing in that sense.
