Gentle Rains Ch. 8

Now that classes were over for the week, and for the next few weeks Ororo smiled some as she finished grading the last of her tests and projects from the students. Leaning back a bit a light moan came from her lips as she slowly stood bringing a hand to her back, while the other rubbed her rounded belly. She smiled some looking at the newest picture of hers and Remy's baby boy. Honestly the things they could do with technology. She could see her baby's features so clearly now, his hair, eyes, ears, and so on. She looked down at her belly and gave it a light pat and rubbed the side of her stomach feeling her son press against the side of her stomach for a back rub. 1

"Hmm hmm, happy you got all that room to move around huh? Better enjoy it while you can the bigger you get, the less room that's gonna be in there." She said and left her room going downstairs.2

"There's our new mommy." Rouge said seeing Ororo walk in. 3

"What's going on?" Ororo asked getting some coffee and sipping it. 4

"Nothing...just having a little girl talk, the guys are watching football." Jean said. 5

"I heard." She said looking out into the living room and sipped her coffee again. "So is he kicking yet?" Jubilee asked.6

"Mmm mm, not that I can feel, he squirms a lot though." Ororo replied.7

"Awww, I wanna be the first one to feel him kick." Jubilee said. 8

"I'm afraid that's reserved for Remy." Ororo said.9

Taking another sip of her coffee she felt a small flutter, and brought a hand to her stomach as she looked at it curiously and put her coffee down. She waited a while not feeling the flutter again as she pressed on her belly a bit and felt a stronger movement as she smiled happily. 10

"Ooo...Remy! Remy come here quickly." she called.11

"Ro what's wrong?" Rouge asked. 12

"Nothing I felt something just now." She said seeing Remy walk in. 13

"What's the matter Stormy you alright?" He asked a bit worried.14

"I'm fine here." Ororo said taking his hand and placing it on her belly. "Feel it?" She asked excited. 15

"Yeah." Remy said smiling.16

"Hey what's going on?" Jubilee whined. 17

"The baby's kicking." Ororo said happily and winced a bit. 18

"Easy there bud don hurt your mama now." Remy said rubbing her stomach. 19

Ororo smiled and kissed her husband again, and let everyone have their turn, even the guys that had come inside interested in what was going on. Later on in the day Remy and Ororo arrived at a private class that Ororo had decided to invest in, birthing classes. She had decided she wanted to give birth at a birthing center. Not that she didn't mind giving birth at the mansion but she just wanted a relaxing experience at a birthing center, and this one had a built in nature birthing room complete with a small birthing pool. She had wanted her son to be born amongst the thing she loved, even more so than her husband, mother nature. 20

After being shown around the birthing room that she had reserved just a few months back thanks in part to Hank's help, the two went down the hall to the birthing class as Ororo smiled some and the two walked inside. During the lesson the art of massage was taught as Ororo leaned against Remy as he rubbed her belly putting light pressure on her stomach as she sighed some relaxing. 21

"That feels good." she moaned breathing some. 22

"Do this everyday before you go to bed, or a nice relaxing backrub and you'll be able to sleep much better." The midwife said.23

After the class Ororo and Remy went home sitting down together on the couch as Ororo leaned on Remy smiling. "Love you." she said softly. 24

"Love you to Stormy." He said.
