Chapter Three:1

"L-Leon..."
"Yeah?" asked Leon casually.
"How are you flying?!" cried Kiva, tightening her grip around Leon's neck.
"Kiva? Could you loosen your arms a little? You're hurting my neck." choked Leon. He coughed a little.
"Oh, sorry..." muttered Kiva, and she released her grip a little. Leon started to flap his wings a little less, and the two slowed down and started to descend, the wings disappearing into Leon's shoulders. The two floated down slowly, and landed on a apartment roof. Leon set Kiva to her feet.
"How did you do that?! Why were those wolves chasing us?! And who's the Priestess of Light?!" asked Kiva, staring at Leon as she flooded him with questions. Leon looked away.
"I'm afraid," he said quietly, "It's not in my place to tell you. The more you know, the more danger you will be in, and I can't let that happen."
"But Leon..."
Leon stood up suddenly.
"I must go. My Master is expecting me."
"Your Master?"
"I serve as a apprentice under him. You called to me, so I snuck off to meet you."
"But I didn't call you." said Kiva, shaking her head.
"You were upset, were you not?" asked Leon, "In the park...Wasn't you lonely?"
Kiva bit her lip, thinking.
"I will come to you when your heart calls me. Whether you are angry, sad, or just want to see me, I will be always be there."
Leon stepped on the side ledge of the roof top. He turned to Kiva, bowing lowly.
"It was nice to see you again, Kiva." he said. Leon turned around.
"Wait! Don't go!" cried Kiva. A gust of wind swirled around Leon and he disappeared.
