Poems are all about words
so I trust this one is
I have to admit with almost all the statements here (but then, the scariest word for me might be "FIRED" right now, hahahahhaa).
Trust is so hard to bestow, and yet so easy to break... I am reminded of a friendship I had at work, and in a span of weeks, TRUST was *that* easy to damage. Maybe the friendship was not as deep at most relationships should be, but yeah... that's beside the point.
Thanks for sharing this with us =) -
Not a poem but cool
Its true. but I would deleate the 2nd trust in each line.

I think you have pegged many descriptions of the word. I think it is one that many people choose not to know the true meaning for it takes a great deal of work and a very high degree of honesty to make that word stay alive; trust! I always allow a person to have my trust and then if they give me a reason to take it away from them, then it has to be re-earned and not very easily may I add! Nicely done.

See I trust too easily also. It's been my downfall in alot of relationships. My husband has no trust in me and I stay home all day. How can you not trust me??? Oh well, its him and not me I have to remember that.

Thanks for reading and for leaving a comment.
Hope you get rain soon

So very true, indeed. It takes me awhile to really trust in people and once I do if they break it. It takes even longer for me to ever gain it back and sometimes depending on the situation it's nearly impossible. Well done Brooke

Simple concept written simply; where's the line that says trust is the most faithful word I know? Or is that too optimistic?
-
-
To optimistic for me
But it's a good one.
Thanks for reading

Each line rings so true here.
Trust is a big word for it has different inner meanings to different people.
We all wish we could give it freely but are afraid it will be broken in the end. Once shattered it is hard to piece back together.

Tell it like it is
I agree.

Everything is a poem...smiles
Somewhere in my deep dark past, I realized that an absolute truism, once spoken, permitted perusal that the opposite of that 'truism' also assumes the quality of truth....saying that, trust might be view as the easiest word and easiest thing to have, just openly and freely 'give' oneself to the warmth and comfort of 'trust' and love, with out a second thought or a look backwards...
I never seem to leave an easy comment do I?
such a deal...

No you don't, but that's what we love about you

You are right though. Trust can be the easiest treasure given. For myself, last night at least, trust wasn't something I was giving.
Thanks for reading and commenting.

TRUE!
Yes. It is. I understand.
Suggestion: In line 5 I'd say Trust is the most easily broken word I know.
