Desire is set free
In the wake of the night
As they gather together
Hunting food after light1
Sly as they saunter
Seduced into dark
While the moon is there hanging
Lighting paths whilst they bark2
And waiting for the perfect prey
A howl is let out at once
On the cliff top at stars who shine
After feasting through their frequent hunts3
The leader is strong
Setting the mood
From fierce and ferocious
To content in their brood4
The majestic creature, ruling the night
Reveals his true nature whilst residing
Through forests that break light through tree tops
And fog is there for their arch hiding 5
Author notes
I realise that it is short indeed, but I really didn't feel the need to extend on what I had said.

Wow.. this was really strong.. Cool way of describing the Surroundings and the mood. and i can agree with that it was short.. but no need to add more. this one says really much and gives me a good picture of what's happening. My favorite part was "The leader is strong
Setting the mood
From fierce and ferocious
To content in their brood"
So fierce.. so good.. and so wolfy if i may say so. You also had the classical view off the wolf/wolves high up at a cliff in a star bright night. So classical but still good. it really shows the pride and the real nature that belongs to a wolf.
Great work!
keep up the good work

Wow this is a really powerful piece. It describes the wolves so very well and I am really impressed at your ability to describe something I have trouble with in paragraphs in such a short poem.
Well done
