The Apparition Man - Part Eighty- Four#

Chapter Twenty-One – Part Eighty-Four # 1

“Mrs Hope, would you like to take a seat please?” Doctor Hewitt asked taking her seat; pen in her hand.2

Shaking her head, Mrs Hope stood still.3

“No thank-you, I won't be here for that much longer, so could you just cut to the chase?”4

Frustrated Doctor Hewitt stood up in front of Mrs Hope.5

“Alright then, I really did not have to be the bringer of bad news, or have to do this myself, but now I see it might just be the perfect thing for Reidy. If you are nit even willing to hear me out Mrs Hope, well I darn well have made the right choice.”6

Raising her eyebrow she looked curiously at Doctor Hewitt.7

“What are you talking about?”8

Doctor Hewitt sighed, handing Mrs Hope a form.9

“I have reported you to Children's social welfare and services, on the bases of negligence, and failure to comply with government procedures.”10

Mrs Hope snatched the paper from out of her hands; taking a quick glance at it.11

“Interview? Why do I have to have an interview? You are not taking her away from me, she is my child.”12

Doctor Hewitt shook her head.13

“She may be your child, but I am in a duty of care, under the acts if I feel any child is being neglected or mistreated I must report it, it is procedure, it is my job.”14

Mrs Hope scrunched the piece of paper up into a ball, and threw it back at Doctor Hewitt.15

“Well I do not care what you say, I am not a bad mother, and you will not take Reidy away.”16

Catching the piece of paper, Doctor Hewitt turned away.17

“Prove it to yourself, and to others; I will be there and I can guarantee if you do not show up at that meeting, and fight with good reasons, you will loose custody of your daughter; and that is a promise, as I will see to it myself.”

    Fight for the children

I read these stories not because I know you as a friend, I don't comment the honest opinions for fear of what the friend may say, yet I read these and comment due to the enjoyment of what the author may say on paper from their mind to the many people who read and may leave a comment or even just walk away without leaving a hello. Yet short stories or long novels are always a challenge to bring to paper especially to keep a reader interested in the next line. the handful of stories that I read, I seem to want to read the next line, whether the stories from your own heart or pre-copied.

This small or large story was indeed very enjoyable to read about the trouble of the woman and the family as well as reading the doctors concerns.

    Fantastic Prodigious !

    Okay

Yeah it was small but to the point. Having personally committed people, I have sometimes found it necessary to protect the person and those around them. Hope it helps Reidy and wakes up mama. A litle more "eyes wide open' awakening.
However, the teacher in me still hates those run on sentences. LOL

    This was good, sweetheart

Though the last part was missing a word, Doctor Hewlitt saying that if she doesn't show up and fight... you forgot the show... just wanted to let you know. Sorry, rhyming again..
