Not thinking you can see past this, knowing you have too,15
Why call it a heart, all it does is beat, it has nothing left.16

I'm crying, trying to love you, trying to stay alive in this relationship we call ours. 18
My hands are cold, my head is frozen, my life stops still.19
I'm numb from this, tearing the life left sour, 20
Feelings of such grief, while you sleep.21
Wishing this heart would mend, filling with your gratefulness that I'm here, still here, while you sleep.22
Will it always be like this, a heart dead to the world and all its glory.23
It cant see, it cant breathe, all it sees is you.24
You and the hurt i must live with, i smile, it freezes.25
Slowly slipping away from this love, i pray u wake.26
