A day with him

It was the kind of day everyone dreams about. 1

As I walked down towards the shore, the sensation of the hot sand under my feet overwhelmed me.
The mist from the waves looked like tiny diamonds on my tan skin.
Behind me, I could see his shadow as I moved closer to the water.
Under my skirt, my legs were moving gracefully along.
He glances at me and I smile back.
I find a spare piece on the coastline and quietly sit down.
I shut my eyes as I snuggle into the warm beach floor.
The crashing waves sing softly in my ears.
Through my eyelids I can see the sun and I caress in its kind warmth.
He sees me and takes me into his arms.
I open my deep, green eyes and a cool breeze makes my long brown hair go wild around my shoulders.
We both doze under the sun and listen peacefully to the seagulls.
Soon after, the water comes up and wraps around our toes.
My lips touch his gorgeous face and he smiles sweetly back at me.
He pulls me close and whispers into my ear.
The sun has just gone down and leaves the sky decorated with its beautiful colors.
The wind gets cooler and I shiver.
He slides his jacket over my thin shirt, and I breathe in his exotic cologne.
I close my eyes, wishing this perfect day would never end.
