As Kiali ran through the forest, her bare feet caught on sharp stones and twigs leaving trail of silvery blood on with every step she took. Finally she couldn't hear that terrible sound of breathing behind her and she raised her head, bright blue eyes falling upon the most beautiful of sights...she had found a new forest here in The Keep.1
As Kiali looked behind her for any signs of Tallith she felt a wave of exhaustion flow over her. She could hear the sounds of many voices within this forest and decided it would be safe to rest. She fell against the tree and slid to the ground, asleep within seconds.2
"Exscuse me...miss? Miss are you okay?"3
Kiali wearily opened her eyes to the form of a man standing over her, a concerned look set upon his face. "Oh thank god your not dead, that would have been four this month!" He smiled brightly, grabbing Kiali arm and pulling her up to her feet, firmly slapping her on the back "Were you fighting in the arena? Thats not place for a woman like you ya'know!" The man laughed and let go of Kiali, who stumbled a little then caught herself and stood up straight.4
"Who the hell are you" It was more of a statement than a question, the man, clearly taken aback by her language took a moment to blink a few times before collecting himself.5
"Prince Mattrim Allomorris, but you can call me Matt" He winked at her and grinned stupidly. Kiali snorted slightly and huffed, this man was already grating on her nerves and he'd only been there a few minutes. "And you?" Matt seemed to be pressing the question, a pair of what Kiali now noticed were purple eyes watching her. 6
"It's Silver, what's it to you?" Matt laughed and looked to her, "Certainly got a little fire there Silver, and it's nothing to me, i just want to be friends"7
Kiali took a moment to think it over and sighed, he didn't look like he was going to be easy to get rid of, and she certainly could use the friends with the recent appearance of Tallith. "Okay, fine, friends it is" Matt smiled and looked up into the tree "Hows your climbing skills? Feet don't hurt too much?" Kiali looked down at her already healed feet then up into the tree.8
"Why?"9
"I think you have a lot to say, stories to tell...you look like an interesting person. And plus, the grounds wet!" Matt laughed already staring his ascent to the tree top. Kiali smiled slightly, maybe this guy wasn't going to be so annoying after all. She jumped to her feet and started her persuit of Matt.
