We were all born today in a nation founded on blood1
Where wars are daily fought in the motherhood2
It's mother against daughter, son against father3
And what can we do? 4
The law won't help, they'd just rather break it than enforce it.5
So here we are, defenseless, getting punished for self defense6
They say I fought back, I'm to blame7
I fought back, so I'm in shame.8
Zero-tolerance they say, I say bull-shit.9
Cause every day, people are out there dyin on the streets10
The murderers runnin free to do as they please11
Goin on a killin spree, slayin the innocents. 12
The ones with the potential to change the motherland13
now lie dead in the ground with the worms and bugs eating away at their innards.14
And then you ask yourself, who will be next?15
Who will be next to taste the hard bullet in the head?16
The law cleans it up, keeps it quiet.17
They say that ignorance its bliss,18
but is it really?19
In a society, a nation, founded on the blood of others, is it really bliss?20
Or is it a big target board saying "Shoot me."?21

Why yes, actually
-holds up my target board-
SHOOT ME, ALREADY
I mean that o.o
I thought this was very snappy and to the point. A bit like the subject of raps. I was intrested to find out what slam poetry is.
I agree with what you're saying too =)
