The sun gently shone through the trees. The wind was cold, it saying hello with a gentle rustle as it raced by. The leaves swayed in the breeze with the reply, a few of them breaking off and landing in the misty pool below. The pool's vapor continued to lift off into the air, and it never stopped. Rings circled the leaves gently as they continued to fall into the murky pool. A gust of wind came again, blowing among the leaves again. It flew around, spreading it's chill around to the nature around it. Chipmunks were racing from tree to tree, trying to collect enough food to last the winter days. A single Gray Jay flew around, looking around for some food as well.2
The wind began to come again, the gust was strong. It blew harshly at the bird, as it flew above the red autumn trees. The Gray Jay tried hard to keep it's self afloat on the fierce current. The wind began to grow angry. It blew even /harder/, upset at the bird. After all, his favourite past-time was blowing birds over while they were flying. The gray bird began to grow angry back at the wind. Suddenly, it spun around, to face the wind. It began to fly towards it, thinking 'I'll find the wind... I'll find the source of it!'

Good use of personification of the wind. Good use of imagery and decriptive language to paint a vivid picture of what was going on. Though short, you created atmosphere and sustained it within the vignette.
Thank you for your entry and good luck!
