I walked out of the school door "Free at last," I thought. Hopefully my family was getting a Christmas tree the next day and hopefully I would get to decorate it. A girl with blond hair brushed passed me. "Hey watch it! Oh and by the way, Merry Christmas Leigh." I said in a mocking tone, knowing she wouldn't hear me. Her family always picks out pathetic trees and all of her friends go over and laugh at them. Of course, her parents don't know it, and truthfully no one had the heart to tell Mr. or Ms Kozak just how bad their trees were. But, Leigh was my best friend, and i never wanted to hurt her feelings. 1
Well, back to it. i was walking out the door and after i spoke to Leigh, Tom waled up to me and I shouted "Hey, Merry x-mas dude!" Yes, call me a boy, but i really consider myself more of a boy than a girl. Tom walked up to me, and said; "So what are you doing over break? We should get together." And MY HEART MELTED. I love that kid.
