What is a map, really? A flimsy piece of paper that can so easily be lost or ripped or crumpled up and thrown into a fireplace, where it’ll burn into ashes? Something that can be changed with the stroke of a pen, to be marked forever and can change the path you will take?1

A map is a record of where you’ve been, and where you will go. There are the swirled lines and symbols that you can decode, that you can tell what they mean by simply looking at the legend. You can look at the paper and see plainly every place you’ve been, every road you’ve walked on, every person you’ve loved. 2

But there are some things you cannot figure out, some markings on there that you do not know what they mean, and even if you do, they are unexpected. Lines leading to what seems to be nowhere, but you know that do lead somewhere...where, exactly, they will take you is something you must find out for yourself.3

However, a map can only tell you so much. There are so many kinds, so many different ones that will tell you different things. It’s like needing a thousand crystal balls to tell you the path one live will take. There some things a mere piece of paper cannot tell you. There are some things you must choose for yourself.4

A map is exactly that. Something that leads you places and shows you the way. But you have to find out things for yourself. Awesome. too many points to count. :]

So nice. I love it! It's secretive yet revealing

Random question... how did you do the characters and do they mean anything?

oh. i thought you meant like...characters in a story.

see, what i did was, i went onto a translation website and translated it into...japanese? then i copy/pasted the characters.

          simple as that!
