The trees are still waving a few green leaves,1
as if to say..."Look at me, you haven't beaten me this time."2
December in Pennsylvania isn't usually so calm.3
Freezing temperatures and blustery winds chill to the bone4
and keep children inside.5
Several feet of snow keep us locked in sometimes for days!6
This year however, things are very different.7
It's almost as if Spring is screaming to breathe Her life upon the earth.8
She wants to come alive early this year and I'm rooting for Her with everything that is in me!9
I long for green, lush trees and full thick grass flooded with Bluebells and wild Hyacinth.10
The colors of life!11
A Dandelion breaking through like a ball of yellow fire soothes my soul and makes me want to dance in Spring showers.12
Winters death will not conquer, Spring is stronger this year and She will take the chill from these bones and when she finally is in all Her glory,13
We will all be made new.14
Spring, my favorite season, when everything is sweet smelling and cleansed again.15
