Unfair love

Rivers jumped off the couch as he heard his mommy's care pull up. He long for her warm gently hands to stroke his ears. The knob turned and his loving coffe brown eyes nearly buldged out of his head.1

But there was a strange man at the door with his mom. "Hey Rivers meet your new daddy he is going to live with us" her perfect voice flowed as she rubbed his ears.2

Rivers trusted this guy if she trusted him than he must be alright. That night after mom went to bed he turned scary Rivers whinned hoping she would hear him.3

Furnuture was thrown and he felt pain run through his body. But he didn't try to defend himself. Mommy loves him he thought over in his head as he ran away trying to escape.4

Rivers was a small dog so he figured he could fit under the couch when the man grabed his leg. He felt his body flying through the air. It was the strangest painless feeling in the world. Painless that is untill he fell with a crash in to the table knocking a lamp on top of him.5

He tried to move but he couldn't. He could feel a warm trickle of blood stain his white fur. He whimpered hoping the man would forgive him for what ever he had done wrong. He was losing his vision and fast the world was blacking out around him. hope filled him as he hoped his mom would wake up soon. "I hate dogs." Was the last thing he heard as his eyes slowly closed in to a everlasting sleep.6

"What happened!" Marisa yelled down at the bottom of the stairs. The secen in front of her was a clip from her nightmares. Her boy friend Trever ran down the stairs. 7

"Is everything ok." he asked a look of worry on his face. "Oh no." he said when he saw the sight. He put his arms arms around her and told her words of comfort. "It must have been a accident." He said kissing her on the forehead.8

Marisa was depressed Rivers was her best friend how could she ever replace him? She stayed with Trevor feeding in to his lies. Never knowing what happened to the pet she loved.
