Senior Year chapter 1

Rhianna linked her arms into her two best friends, Autumn and Dae, and walked into the high school. It was her first day of her last year at high school. Then she was going to graduate and be a rock star. Ria( that was her nickname) was a punk. She loved black makeup, rehearsing with her band (Grudge), clothes shopping at hot topic, dancing, singing, playing guitar, snowboarding, skateboarding, tying up the phone and computer talking to boiz, writing poetry and songs, and just about anything punk. Anything that would scare the preps at school. The pink barbie dolls with their pretty convertibles, perfect lives and good grades. The cheerleaders who were soooo skinny and the football players that everyone thought were just soooo hot. Ria lived off chains and tight skinny shirts that showed off her skull belly button ring.Ria had her labre, tongue, eyebrow, nose, and belly button pierced. And she had both of her ears pierced the whole way up. Ria had amythest eyes and black black hair that she wore straight and down. She had blue streaks through her hair. All the guys that were punks thought she was hot. 1

Autumn was one of Rias best friends. She had purple hair that she wore spiky and short..her bangs were longer than her hair. And she had amber eyes. She always wore hot topic skirts and boots up to her knees. She, unlike Ria, wore black lipstick all the time. Ria loved black lipstick but didnt feel like putting it on half the time. 2

Dae was short for Danae. Dae was Ria's other best friend. Dae had blonde hair that was really really long.it was a little past her waist. Dae was kinda half punk half prep. Dae would wear pink and she wouldnt wear half the the things in hot topic for fear of being made fun of. Ria and Autumn teased her all the time trying to get her to lighten up. Dae had blue eyes that changed colors into brown. She also had a twin sister whose name was Diana. But Diana hung out with the drama club people so she wasnt into the punk or prep scene.3

" So, Ria, are you going to ask Keri out this year?" asked Dae, as they entered the building.4

" I don't know. I've liked him for a long time. I don't think he would go out with me!"5

" Why don't you ask him? He's right there." Autumn pointed over to the door where a really hot boi stood with his friends. He had brown hair and his eyebrow pierced. His name was Keri. He had been Ria's crush for years. But they were just friends, Ria had kept telling herself. Nothing more.6

" You know, I've loved him for a long time and I want to be with him. I should ask him out." Ria said while Autumn and Dae cheered. " I'm just not asking him today."7

" Oh, yes you are." Autumn yelled to Keri. He walked over to them.8

" Whas up, y'all? Ria, you look good."9

" T-thanks." she stumbled over her words. Her heart was racing.10

" Well, we'll leave you two alone. Ria has something to ask you, Keri. See ya lates, Ri." Autumn and Dae walked off.11

Then Ria just blurted it out. " Keri, I've liked you for a long time and I wanted to know if you would go out with me this year?"12
