*How I write My novels* 1
Okay so for some reason I always get asked, How the hell do I write like I do.2
Why do I write my novels? What Inspires me to write? How do I actually go about writing my Novels? How do I deal with writers block?3
So seeing as those are the most popular questions I have been asked, I thought I might put everyone's mind at ease, and let you all know just exactly how I write a novel. 4
I will also go into a few more questions in a deeper context as I go along.5
Introduction 6
Now I won't pretend I am some big shot writer. Cause lets me honest, I might be a passionate writer, I might be obsessive, but I am by no means a professional. That in itself is a key. Unless you believe you will get to the place, unless you have faith and dedication that you want this, and you want this bad. Well In my mind you might as well just give up now. 7
Writing a novel is not a walk in the park, its more like a marathon. Writing a Novel take a hell of a lot out of you, and while it has its good time, and its bad times just like everything else, it is draining, it is a lot of hard work. It will tear you apart sometimes, it will make you make you so angry sometimes that you just want to turn around, and stomp the bloody thing into the ground. 8
Along with that, talk about the endless amounts of coffee till you almost pee your pants, and the lack of sleep that by about the end of the novel you look more like the unread than a Novelist. Not to say that it has to be like that, but that is just a fair warning of the side affects. 9
Now you add to that the time of life, because I know that not all people like me have the time to sit around all day writing a Novel. That is when time management comes into the picture. I had to learn this the hard way, after spending months away from school, with hours at my disposal, to having to go back to school, look for a job, and being so tired by the end of the day the last thing I wanted to do was look at a screen, or my chosen method, paper. I have a few Methods of time management that have worked for me that might work for you.10
To conclude my introduction, I am not at all in any way saying you have to use my methods, by all means ignore them, use them, adapt anything you need to best fit your style. Find whatever methods fits you best and stick to it. 11
The main thing is to be you, and always be you, for there is only one you, and everyone will have a different methods that they work best with.12

lol, you made me laugh in the Authors Notes. Great work again! I can't seem to complete my novel, but I'm gonna keep working on it because I believe this story is worth being told...inspiration is thickening more and more. Working up to it.

I liked delving into your soul as you placed it out there. Writing is hard work and I see that you put a lot out there so you must be dedicated. Thank you for sharing.

sounds familiar
Excellent piece, but I wish you would have gone into more details about your technique. I've written two full novels so far and I enjoy the outlining and writing(also with pen)much more than the editing, synopsis and agent/editor appeals. Dreaming is important, but I believe those authors that can deflect rejection and be satisfied with validation are the ones that succeed. Like you said. Sticking to it(discipline) is the most important quality of a sucessfull writer.

In the second sentence of your introduction portion, I think you mean be not me.
third paragraph, I think you mean undead not unread
Other than those two simple typos, this was well written, flowed well, and i liked it.
Thanks for entering -

LOL that line on drinking coffee till you almost pee in your pants. That is so true! Oh yes it can make you want to stomp it in the ground and say screw it sometimes. I have got to start learning me some time management with the new job. Haven't had to manage my time much in several years so hmmm could be a challenge. Interesting and funny facts here!
