When you met me I was strong, capable of handling any situations that usually meant rarely nothing to me. I was a girl, who liked to word her way around, and to take a pass at every guy that she could. Whether or not it meant loosing people in the end, because all my life people had deserted me, and had treated me like trash. Not everyone, but the majority. 2

Every man I had been before prior never meant as much as they did to you. To compare them to you would be cruel. Your nothing like them, you might be a beast at times, but thats what I love.3

I love that you make me smile, you make me laugh, and cry. Through the good times and the bad, you were always there. You still are, always there, always here, always in my mind, heart, spirit. You live beneath my soul.4

Like they say... Like I always remember people telling me, when every relationship I attempted to establish blew up like an explosive bomb in my face. The course of true love, never did run smooth.5

They were right. Every man before me, jumped up, they ran away at any sign of me faltering from my usual, strong, well back-boned, personality. They ran when I needed them the most. When my world was falling apart, when it was shattering at my feet. And I was alone.7

I expected you to do the same. I braced myself. Loving you so much, but hiding under the rock, wincing, and crying, because somewhere in my heart I expected you to leave me just like them, only this time I knew if I lost such a man like you, well I might as well not try to love again. But you changed that in me.8

You stayed, when I feel apart when my best friend used me. 9

You stayed, when my father was drinking and I was fuming.11

You stayed through all the nervous breakdowns when I thought I wasn't good enough. 13

You stayed when my own mother kicked me out, and my world was at loss, so full of stress and anger, and yet despite my paranoia, my inability to relax. 19

I loved you, I love you, I always will love you for who you are, and what you stand for. I could trust you with every secret of mine, and know that it was safe. 25

You never once have judged me. I could share anything with you, and know that when I finish telling you, that you would not turn around, and walk away. Sickened by the person I am. What makes me. 27

I love you for everything. Nothing could shock me, or make me regret loving you. That is you, that is who I fell in love with, a man with flaws who is not afraid to say it, a man who sees all my flaws, and even when I feel like the world has shit on me, I am still and angel in your eyes.29

You were always there...and I know deep within my heart no matter what. No matter what life throws at us we will make it through with shining colors. 30

I don't have to fear that one day you will desert me, because I know that deep down you love me, just as much as I love you. If that is even possible... That's the reason you were always there... Love, we love each other so strongly, how could anything come between that. 32

So while the course of true love never did run smooth. We do the best we can to make sure that it as smooth as we can. Because true love is to precious to waste upon fear.34
