With help from a pint or three,1
was an ancient legend told:2
treasure shrouded in mystery3
hidden in a God's abode.4
Those who sought all where vanquished,5
Every single one had failed.6
Brave marauders soon relinquished7
once they'd heard the dire tale.8
Vitrael spoke soft and quickly,9
careful that he was not heard,10
while the others, drunk and sickly,11
nodded at what they had learned.12
Vitrael asked for assistance.13
All the men who had been present14
Gave some thought, but in an instant15
Laughed that they had been hesitant.16
A pact was made upon that table,17
by twenty men in drunken fogs,18
That they should be hallowed in fables19
For their robbery of Gods.20
Stumbling, the men retreated21
to their humble shacks and beds22
pondering what they'd been treated23
to within their feeble heads.24
Late that night, a tempest bellowed25
Roaring winds howled for their heed26
To our group of common fellows27
questioning Vitrael's deeds.28
"Fools of Tyria, dismiss29
The words of cunning Vitrael30
All his words are poisonous31
His quest leads you only to Hell!"32
The most decided to betray him,33
concurred his plan was sinister.34
Though in the morn, Vitrael swayed them,35
with boasts of wealth administered.36
"Friends," said he, "We'll bask in riches,37
greater than the world has seen!38
Your hand shall be the very stitches39
sewing every woman's dream!"40
As to rob a God is folly,41
Vitrael is surely keen.42
These men's judgement gone in volleys43
of Vitrael's blasphemy.44
"In a fortnight, East of Tright,45
We set sail from the land.46
Once the shores escape our sight,47
I shall reveal the greater plan."48

"With help from a pint or three". How true that line is
I liked this, I always enjoy a good flight of fantasy. As this is part one I gather there'll be more of the same comming along soon. I'll keep a beedy eye open for them. I enjoyed this, nice one.
