Viola

No, Viola is not my name. If you've read my profile, you already knew that. Viola is my pseudonym, my pen name, my alter ego. I chose it for a variety of reasons, the most important of which being that I LOVE IT.1

My real name, one which I will not share on this site, is a stuck-up name of a politician that was chosen based on someone's last name. It IS a first name, mind you, but to me, it doesn't feel like one.2

I'm musically inclined. It runs in my family, and music flows through my veins every minute I am alive. It truly is my passion, even if I don't show it as often as many would like me to. This is one reason why "Viola" would be a good name for me: it addresses my musical tendancies.3

Because of this musicality, I long for a name that has a particular ring to it. Something that ends in an "a", or that could easily be put into the lyrics of a song. Viola is a perfect match for this outline.4

I wish my real name was Viola. I really do. It's such a beautiful name, and it's so easy on the ears and on the tongue. It could be my name, and it should be my name. For now, however, I suppose it being my pen name will have to suffice. Because the day I become a famous author, it will be the name "Viola King" that will be famous. And that's just how I want it to be.
