The First Kiss Crusade

"Dammit! Was it so hard to warn a person that your about to throw a whole game system at them!?"1

"Look out, game system coming down!" Sarcastically warned Adrian way too late."Now if I can just find the Smash Bros. game.... Here it is!" And he threw that down too. The boy known as Adrian came down from the pull out latter that led into the attic, and walked to his room to set up the N64 to prove that he could beat Trevor in Smash Bros..2

"That's why you'll never even kiss a girl, all you ever do is play games all day." Benjamin had just come in when they reached Adrian's room.3

"Shut up, like you've ever even had your first kiss." Adrian shot back.4

"I have, genius. Hell I did a lot more than that, too." 5

"Could you not make a yo momma joke for one day Benjamin?" Trevor started setting up the system.6

"I was about to go play ball with Dylan, so I came to see if you wanted to come too. But your just gonna sit up here and play a game." Benjamin left.7

After a day of pixie sticks, pizza, Pepsi, and Smash Bros., Trevor went home and, it being a Sunday, Adrian prepared for Monday. 8

As he fell asleep, Benjamin's words rang in his head. "That's why you'll never get your first kiss." Finally he drifted off.9

The next day they still poked and prodded at him. In Math, English, Science, Social Studies, the whole morning the words wouldn't leave his mind. Finally it was lunch, and he would be able to forget it all in a card game of Stupid. 10

"Yo Adrian, got a queen?" Benjamin asked.11

"Yeah I got a kiss -- I mean a queen..." 12

After the game was over he just ate his generic tasting school pizza and thought over the words that wouldn't leave him alone.13

After a couple minutes of deliberation, he had decided on what had to be done. he had to get his first kiss, and especially before his thirteenth birthday, which was only two weeks away. But he would need someone to help him, and he knew just the person. 14

After school that day, when Trevor came over as usual, he proposed his idea to him.15

"And how are we supposed to get two girls to kiss us in two weeks?" Contradicted Trevor.16

"We'll be super cool." 17

"It won't work."18

"I'll bet a Lincoln that it will." Adrian pulled out a $5 bill and put it on the table.19

"Deal. But we'll have to plan this out and see what we'll do and stuff."20

"To the Adrian cave!" 21

"No.... Just..... No."22

Back in the Base Of Operations for Operation First Kiss......23

"So who are we supposed to target for this?" Trevor questioned.24

"Well... I think Renae's interested a little in you..." Adrian informed."I can't think of anyone for me though..."25

"We'll have to ask around tomorrow then. I on the other hand, am going to get started on Renae..." 26

{Next Day...}27

"Hey, Alyson, would you like to come to my Birthday party on the sixteenth?"28

"No."29

"Terry?"30

"Go away."31

"Cheyenne?" 32

"Leave. Now."33

"Well that went well, Adrian." Mocked Trevor as Adrian came back to the boys table at lunch.34

"Does anyone have a dollar?" Lindsey, one girl he hadn't asked, came to the table.35

"Yeah I do..." He turned around to hand it to her and looked at her, and on a spur of the moment said something totally random for him."God you're beautiful..."36

"Thanks!" She giggled and turned to leave. 37

"Hey, Lindsey, you wanna come to my Birthday party on the sixteenth?"38

"Sure!" And she went back to her table.39

"So you've got it after all..." Joked Trevor as the rest followed in with more jokes.40

{The sixteenth...}41

Adrian looked around from his spot at the table. His family was throwing him a party at a buffet to celebrate such a milestone year. Finally he spotted Lindsey, in a black dress, with her blonde hair in a bun, walking in. He rushed over to greet her. Over the two weeks that came before his birthday he had became pretty good friends with her, however good of a friend you can become in two weeks.42

After everyone had come, people were starting to get their food, and Adrian was no exception. Unintentionally, he met with Lindsey over the Potato Salad. He started a conversation while he piled up on salad to work up the courage to do it. 43

'You've gotten this far, you can't let it all go now... You've only got 2 hours until your thirteen anyway...' He mentally prepped himself up. 44

They both looked up at the same time, and as she was in the middle of a 'you', he laid down his plate and brought himself to her, and kissed her. He stepped back and stammered out half an apology, when she did the same and kissed back.45

"Dammit, I just lost 5 bucks..." 46
