Gentle Rains Ch 5.

"So how many of dese pictures you gonna get Stormy?" Remy asked with interest as he looked at the photo's from Ororo's previous ultrasounds of the baby as he looked back at her seeing her sitting at her vanity brushing her hair. 2

Now Ororo wasn't one to be obsessed with herself and how she looked, Remy knew that much, that's half of the reason he married his beautiful Goddess in the first place, the other half probably came from their long stemmed relationship from when she had been turned into a child by the caretaker robot Nanny, though it seemed like nothing but a partnership at the time, and he never thought in a million plus years that he'd actually become her teammate and lover, and now the two were happily married with a baby on the way. Mon dieu was he ever blessed. To have a blue eyed White haired Egyptian goddess like her was indeed something he never thought he'd get. But Fate had a way of working things out like that. At least that's what he always said. 3

"Until the babies big enough to see is facial features I guess." She said and put her brush down. "Remy what do you think? Ponytail or Braid?" She asked not being able to decide how to do her hair. 4

Remy smiled and walked over leaning down and kissing her neck. "I like it out. " He said running his fingers through her hair. "Otherwise I wouldn't be doing dis." He said hearing a light giggle from Ororo. 5

"Will you at least cut it for me? Its getting long again." She said. 6

"Don get it done up in dos braids den." He said as Ororo sighed some and leaned against him. 7

"I know, but I loved it so much, when I could wear my hair like that." She said. 8

Remy smiled and sat down on her bench pulling her into his lap. "Remy don really care how ya wear it, you look like a goddess anyway." He said placing a few soft kisses on her cheek slowly going down to her neck. 9

"Thanks Remy...Wanna come out flying with me today?" She asked sliding off his lap knowing he wasn't to fond of going flying with her on her morning wind walks. 10

"Dis Street rat like ta keep his feet on de ground baby girl." He said and stood. "I'll watch ta make sure notin happens." He said walking with her to her balcony as he held her hand watching her float some as he slowly let her go flying off as he jumped up on her railing and hopped up on the drain pipe as he swung up and walked up to the top of the roof to watch her.11

Not only was she beautiful when she was flying like that, but radiant as well, it was like the will of nature would bow to her whenever she was out. Better to let her have her fun now, then in two more months, Xavier put a damper on her using her powers unless it was to water her plants, that was the last thing Ororo needed was to be stressed out from the use of her powers. He smiled some holding his hand out as she took it gently and landed kissing him as she nuzzled him afterwards. 12

"Hey Let's go have breakfast we're hungry." She said  as Remy chuckled. 13

"Alright." He said and led her back down the roof and inside the mansion again as the two went down to breakfast. 14

"Morning you two." Jean said smiling. "Pancakes or Waffles?" She asked flipping another pancake. 15

"Both." Ororo said smiling as she went to the fridge and got some orange juice and poured herself a glass drinking it. 16

"How's baby doing?" Rouge asked walking over and rubbing her belly. 17

"Fine I hope." She said smiling. 18

Jean smiled giving Ororo her breakfast as she smiled happily and dug in. After Breakfast Ororo stretched some as she went into the living room and sat on the couch with Rouge.19

"Hey Rouge, wanna do me a favor?" She asked looking at her. 20

"Sure hun what is it?" She asked.21

"I've got the strangest feeling for one of those tubs of Cotton candy wanna get me some?" she asked. 22

"Haha, sure sugah coming right up." she said leaving going to get Ororo some cotton candy.
