Gentle Rains ch, 4

Later on in the day after classes were over Ororo and Remy walked down to Xavier's office to speak about some "safety precautions" that were to be put into place to make sure Ororo and her baby would be safe during her first three cructial months of her pregnancy.1

Arriving at the Professor's office Ororo lightly knocked on his door and walked inside with Remy smiling as she shut the door. 2

It had taken a few hours to discuss the said terms,which included, Ororo not being able to attend field missions, however she could help with missions from inside the mansion, and she would still carry on with her classes until she decided to take a short temporary maternity leave to have some time to herself and her baby once he or she was born. After talking for a while longer the two left the office and walked upstairs to go to bed. 3

Two months later Ororo sat outside in a tree waiting for Remy to come home as she looked intently at the picture of the baby growing inside of her belly. She smiled as she lifted her shirt a bit looking at the tiny swell of her belly. Beast had suggested that she'd try and rest more being that she was now in her third month of pregnancy and had been quite stressed the past few weeks. Probably because of the week of testing and trying to keep up with Remy's work schedule and of course buying things for the baby as well. All of it seemed to be taking its toll on her and she sighed a bit as she leaned back in her tree and rubbed her belly a bit before letting her shirt slid back over her belly. 4

She saw Remy's car pull into the School a while later and smiled flying over as she landed and wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him feeling his strong arms come around her waist gently as he gave quite a deep passionate kiss in return and stepped back a bit as he felt her belly.5

"How you two doing?" He asked smiling as Ororo smiled some. 6

"We're ok." She said.7

"Good, your getting a bit of a belly now hmm." He said.8

Ororo gave him a light slap on the shoulder and turned away acting like she was upset. "I'm not even showing yet and your teasing me...how rude." She said.9

Remy chuckled and brought her close to him embracing her in his arms as he rocked with her a bit. Ororo took a quick glance at him and leaned back kissing his neck.10

"Dat mean you forgive me?" He asked. 11

"Yes." She said nodding as she giggled going inside with him as the two went down to the rec room to play some games, and to have a little "private time"
