Gentle Rains Ch. 3

Within the week news had spread about Ororo's pregnancy and many congratulations were given in return. By the end of the week Remy and Ororo who themselves were tired from all the excitement decided to just take it easy and go do some early baby shopping. Not for clothing mind you, but for the basic necessities, diapers, pacifiers, lotion, the like. While they they were shopping they figured they'd do some shopping for the mansion as well. While Ororo was looking down the produce isle for some fruits and some actual organic healthy food instead of the stuff that came in a box Remy smiled watching her as he leaned on the cart his hand on his cheek as he admired his wife. 1

"Gonna be dere all day?" Remy asked smiling as Ororo leaned up with a few apples in a bag. 2

Her sky blue eyes looked over at him with a little bit of impatience as she placed her hands on her hips. 3

"Well come help me and I might get done quicker." She said making sure to put a deffinate emphasis on the word might. 4

"Hmm hmm, that's no garentee either chere." He said wrapping an arm around her waist gently. 5

"Hmm hmm, just help me, I don't got much to finish." She said kissing him.6

"Alright." He said helping her with her shopping and lifting heavy things for her the two went to the front paying for the groceries as they put them in the car and drove off for home.7

Once they had gotten home Remy had noticed Ororo looking a bit under the weather. Having A few of the others bring in the groceries, he helped Ororo out of the car and inside the Mansion. 8

"You ok?" He asked helping her sit down. 9

"Just a little dizzy." Ororo moaned.10

"Sound like more den dat, Stormy." He said running his fingers through her silky white strands of hair. 11

"Just let me rest, I'll be alright." She said frowning as she laid down on the couch. 12

Remy frowned some not wanting to leave her alone, he walked off nodding some but stayed near the living room and eventually went off to the wreck room to play some Pool with the boys.13

Ororo woke up about a good two hours later and coughed some covering her mouth as she rolled on her side moaning as she breathed some and went upstairs to her room sitting on the edge of her tub in her bathroom she waited a while before her stomach gave a sudden lurch and she went foward emptying her stomach of her breakfast and what little she had for lunch. 14

"Stormy." Remy said walking into her bathroom as he knealed down rubbing her back and pulling her hair back. 15

"Mmm." Ororo moaned leaning up after a while.16

"Goddess...and I have to go through this for another two months." She said moaning some holding her stomach. 17

Remy frowned some as he got a cool cloth for her and placed it on her forehead as he held her in his arms as Ororo lay her head between the crook of his neck and shoulder as she closed her eyes. 18

"It'll be alright Chere, it'll be just fine." he said trying to comfort her.19

"I know." She said laying there for a while. "It'll all be worth it in the end." She said.
