Sean woke up sweaty, alone, and calm. The bright light beamed down from above, like some sort of sign. But Sean knew that was the last thing that could get him out of there. 1
"Oh Mr. Sean, wake up sleepy-head. It's time for your breakfast." came a cooing voice from a speakerbox bolted to the ceiling.2
Two large, muscular men in white suits came into the white room and carried a tray of food. They undid his binds, but chained him to the floor. This was always the routine: Get up, get some nasty food, and be put back to sleep. Sean was NOT crazy. He had just made some bad choices in his life. 3
Which is how he ended up in the insane asylum.

As usual, Sean fought sleep. The pills were usually merciful enough to give him at least five minutes of consciousness, if anyone would be so bold as to call it that. He drifted between his own thoughts and the guilt-free thoughts of his father. Yes, that had been his first mistake. Telling his father.
