The Weirdest Birthday Ever

Meeha walked down the stairs with her long brown hair falling behind her. It was around 7:00 pm. 1

"Happy Birthday, Meeha" Her mother shouted. Meeha rolled her eyes and said "thanks" in a very sarcastic tone. Meeha had hated her mother ever since the first grade when her mother told her she couldn't go live with her dad in Austrailla. So she was stuck in here in...Canada! Oh joy. 2

"Guess what your present is?" her mother said excitedly3

Meeha sat down to eat breakfeast. 4

"Don't you wanna know" Meeha's mother said kind of sadly5

"Of course I do" Meeha said again in her sarcastic voice and slowly got up from the table. Meeha's mother was back to being excited.6

"Go in the basement...in the back left corner you'll find you gift"7

The basement...Meeha thought to herself...what could she possibly put in the basement, that I would want...A new bike?...A car?...definitly not a car she decided after remembering what she did to her mothers car...and even if it was how would her mother get it into the basement.8

Meeha walked slowly down the stairs, which creeked every time she walked on a different one. When she finally got o the bottom she looked in the back left corner...9

"A monkey?! Mom you got me a Monkey??" Thier sitting in a cage in the corner was a miniture monkey with a little diper on.10

"Surprise!" Her mother yelled flying down the stairs after her "Are you excited?...Surprised?...Overjoyed?"11

"Something like that" Meeha said looking a little more then dissapointed she took the monkey out of the basement and took it up to her bed room.12

"A monkey" she thought out loud "What in the world am I going to do with you"13

"Well" the monkey replied "You can start by taking this diper off, I am well trained to go to the bathroom...Oh yes and let me out of the cage" the monkey had a very safisticated tone to his voice.14

Meeha's eyes opened as wide as they could and she was almost positive that her jaw was going to touch the ground.15

"Child, its not polite to stare and close your mouth before a fly goes in"16

"Wait...hold up...your a monkey...you not suppose to...what..who.."17

"Let me start off with the basics" the monkey started " My name is Wallace P. Winifered. I am from Melmac District 448. I came here by accident you see...I was driving the Mustang 485 and I was going to fast I crashed right into a meterer and land on this little plant..I think its mars...This was over 40 years ago! Around the fourth year I was tired of hiding and decided to take the form of something on this planet. From what I could tell these 'Monkeys' seemed like the smartest thing I could come across and decided to be one of those. Not to long after that I was capture and put in a zoo until about 3 years ago when I was pout up for sale ina pet shop"18

Meeha just stared she had so many questions that need to be answer but she couldn't even speak...Finally she got the nerve up and started asking.19

"Where is Melmac District 448? I've never heard of that. And waht is a Mustang 485? This planet is earth...and...what are you?" Meeha said everything she wasn't sure if Wallace got it all. He did.20

"Melmac Distict 448 is about 600 million light years from pluto. A mustang 485 is the fines make of spaceship avalible in the universe and I am a shape shifter...I can turn into anything I like, anytime I like. In my natural form I am but a blob of green goop. Anyways you have to help me get back to Melmac. I miss my wife and kids". Wallace looked to the ground and Meeha could tell he was crying. "What can I do about that?" Meeha asked "Well" Wallace replied "When you wake up in the morning you will no longer be on earth you will be in space with me...I can't ecxplain how but just trust me" Meeha did. She decided she would go to bed early that night.21

She had had the strangest dream last night. She had dreamed that her mother bought her a monkey that wasn't really a monkey, that could talk and was actually a blob of goop wanted her help. Too bad it was reality. As Meeha went to get out of bed she realized that her bed was on a cloud. She looked around for Wallace realizing she didn't dream it all and actually getting quite worried. She saw what she assumed was Wallace sleeping under a tree in the form of a dog. "Wallace" she said gently "Wallace" After seeing that he was a heavy sleeper, Meeha Screamed "WALLACE!!" the dog woke up and started barking harshly and Wallace walked around the corner holding a cup of coffee in this hand.22

"No need to shout" he said calmly23

"What am I doing here Wallace"24

"You helping me get home"25

"How?"26

"I am a shape shifter, I am going change into a mustange 485 and give you directions to my home"27

"I don't have my lisence yet" Meeha explained28

"That doesn't matter up here"29

Meeha watched as Wallace slowly turn into a small spaceship and followed his directions perfectly until they land on Melmac. Meeha met his family and sat down to a lovely meal of...well she wasn't quite sure what it was but it was good anyways. After all the days events Meeha sat down by the bright green fire and asked Wallace how she would get home.30

"The same way you got here. When you go to sleep tonight here, you will wake up home and this will seem like a dream or fantasy world. It will be the day of your birthday again, however you mother won't give you me. She will give you an amulite that changes colors. Blue, Green, Yellow. When you want to come visit us say yellow and you will wake up here. When you want to go see your dad say Green and you will wake up there. When you want to go to the cloud world say Blue and you will wake up there."31

Meeha walked over to Wallace, gave him a hug good bye and fell to sleep.32

"Happy Birthday, Meeha" her mother shouted. Meeha looked at her in a kind of confused look. Her mother reached up in the cupboard and pulled out and Amulet she explained that it turned Blue, Green and Yellow.
