Raven lied in the grass, his face turned upwards to the night. How do people not notice the sky? It's full of darkness, but can still keep it's light strong enough to penetrate it's own shadow, he thought to himself. The wind blew his jet black, longer-than normal hair into his face. He groaned and pushed it out of the way of his greyish-blue eyes, for it was blocking his vision of the great abyss that was the sky. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something shooting across the night. He gazed in awe, but then, after a few moments, he jumped up in alarm; the- whatever it was- was coming towards him! He ran as fast as he could; every 5 yards he would run, the 'meteor' would discend the sky in thousands of miles at a time.
"Shit!" Raven screamed as it blasted into the ground, the shock wave of it lifting him off his feet and throwing him several feet. After a few seconds of the impact, Raven, muscles shaking, slowly got on his feet and cautiously made his way to the object that had blown him off his feet. The ground that had been hit was sizzling hot. He cursed himself and jumped into the hole in the Earth.
"Hnnngghhh..." a small voice whispered. Raven jumped and looked around faster, desperate to find the sound's owner. After several minutes of scavenging, he found an arm.
"Oh my fucking God!" He screamed. "Are you alive?! Please tell me you're alive!" Raven carefully followed the arm to a body, and lifted it out of the hole, concentrating on saving the person until both were out of the hole. He finally got a good look at the person, well, her. She looked like an older teen, like him, with snowy white hair. Her eyes were closed. He put his hand on her wrist to feel a pulse, which, he didn't. "Damn... I lost her..." he sighed. There was just something about her, to him. Her face was beautiful, her features; breath-taking. Her skin was pale, and it wasn't until then that he noticed some debis still stuck to her back. He held her so he could get them off. The objects felt feathery and soft, their color a charcoaly black. As Raven tugged at them, they wouldn't budge. That's when it hit him; could it be true? Could she be from the Heavens? He layed her on her back and moved her arm slightly. "Are you alright?" he asked, a new hope arising from his heart. The magnificent creature stirred slightly, and opened her eyes halfway. At the sight of him, she smiled softly and fainted again. Raven just smiled.1
This angel would soon mean the world to him, even if he didn't know it yet.

Hahaha! That was awesome! Great use of imagination. Some grammar issues, but not difficult to read anyway. I can't get over the idea of an angel falling so fast that she looks like a meteor. That's just brilliant!

Very Unique
Like I said, this story was very unique! It definitely captured my attention from the start, and I thought the use of the name Raven for a guy was a great idea. I love the description of the "angle" and I thought the last line was very sweet. :]
Great job!
