Damn Cold Night

My thin spidery wings float on the cold air. 1

I feel a noise around me even though I can't hear it. 2

Damian came up behind me and grabbed my shoulder.3

"Hey Parris, I was wondering what you were doing all alone up here," He said with sincerity in his deep green eyes. "You know, I have a place for you to go to if you are tired." while looking, staring right into my bright pink eyes. I felt his hand leave my shoulder as he flew off. 4

I don't know if it was just me or what, but I could've sworn that I did not have a purple rose in my hand when Damian arrived. 5

I dived after him at a deathly speed, when I caught up with him I wrenched him out of flight.6

"What the hell is up with you, Damian? You have changed so much since...," I couldn't finish my sentence. 7

He and I both know who killed my mother and since then he has not been as friendly but just more than that; like this would make-up for it. I never asked him why and I just ignored it until now.8

"Parris I am so sorry for this," Damian claimed as he took me by the neck and slashed my throat. He knew though that would hurt but I would still live.9

The pain was tolerable but not for much longer. I curled up on the sidewalk and went unconscious. 10

I woke up in a familiar place with a big bed and a roomful of curtains on the windows...

Why have I been hearing the name Damian so much lately? I don't think I know one.
Anyway, the story left me wanting more, even though I normally don't like Sci-Fi or fantasy so much. I guess that means it was good. Let me know if you ever post more on it.
    peace... or anarchy. Whichever...
