I am a phoenix.1
I am born from my ashes.2
Turmoil and oppression set me ablaze, 3
I cannot be captured for I am not a being4
I 5
Am eternally free.6
I endure visions of pain and suffering7
Tolerate torture and cruelness.8
But 9
I10
Am eternally free. 11
When the pressure is strong, and I am full with grief and turmoil,12
I release my self,13
And set ablaze,14
Burning with colors not seen on earth,15
Ginger, and sapphire, dance through the sky,16
Winding with the spirit of myself.17
Ashes lightly fall to the ground in a delicate state, 18
And in the nest lies an egg. 19
An egg untouched by sorrow or misery,20
An egg that is innocent and pure.21
I am born from that egg, 22
Until once again I ignite my frustrations 23
And resurrect myself. 24

I thought this was a brilliant poem. I can empathise with the desire to burst into flames and start again. Good work.
