Nature of Wind

The wind twirls around me1

Pulling my hair to the side2

Scents of apples and berries 3

Drifting along in it’s4

Comforting breath5

I look up at the sky6

The wind departs the clouds7

Letting the sun beam down 8

Like lights on a stage9

I hear a howl far away10

Faintly drifting along11

It ripples12

Waves of invisible water13

Splashing against the grass14

And I15

I shudder with the breeze16

And wrap my coat around me17

Silky fingers dancing around18

The trees’19

Nimble forms20

This is the nature of wind.21

    I LOVE IT!!! THIS IS SO WHAT I WANTED!! Beautiful...nature-related...the perfect choice of words and EVERYTHING!! I love it. Finalist list FOR SURE!!

    WOW out of all the poems I ever read,this was the best one.I liked how you were so decriptive in your poem.It seemed as if I could feel everything you described in it.I realy liked this poem it was great.

    Wow, that is powerful imagery. I felt my shoulders droop in complete relaxation even though I have some anger against the wind...You kept it going too, and I feel soothed of my problems. My favorite was:
    Wait...lol, I can't find something to single I ended up highlighting it all. But I started here:
