“Welcome beast, My hunters of the night, we gather here in the darkness of my lair today to call upon the sacrifice of our century long slumber, it is time for us all to once again stalk, feed and find the innocent so that we may again be able to gather and succeed in our quest for the elite species of the night walker generation.”2

King Elan stood in front of his people. The podium of gold sparkling in the light. Fresh blood ran on taps, it was a feast of many to come, a gathering of all creatures wild and hungry who had spent what felt like eternity in a slumber under the commands of his kingdom. Now as the full moon shone, the awakening was about to begin.3

“My people, the time has come to awaken, to open out eyes and enjoy the darkness outside our coffins in which we have rested in for to long.We must work together as a group, unite as brothers and as sisters as we begin our search for the prophecy child, for the light ones Angel, but do not be fooled into a dull sense of accomplishment, for he is not so clear to see, he is just like them, just like all those fresh, warm blooded mortals.Only when you taste the blackened blood of his pure soul will you know that you have found the prophecy child."4

Fangs extended in excitement, this competition, the fight for their leaders approval, for his love. Many times had they tried and failed, spending the full moon year in the light of the world, suffering, dying, crying out for what they so dearly needed to make their king happy. Many had sacrificed their lives in the light of day to find the prophecy child, disappearing away into nothing within the Sunshine's rays, only to remain a pile of charred ashes, a painful memory of what was yet to come.5

“My children, heed my warning I have no time for ignorance. This is a fight to save our race, this is our last chance to find the chosen one, our son, our leader of darkness, let this not come easy, let this be the challenge of your lives and you must risk you lives, like many before us to save your kingdom, to save your leader and to save yourselves. Upon my final words I wish to announce that the time has come for you to now leave and fulfill your duties with care, may we all unite, may we all be one, and may we succeed in bringing the prophecy child right back to were he belongs, in our race, in our time. The time of the creatures of the night, Embrace the living dead.”
