When I hear this song, I think of someone who has been extremely hurt emotionally so she has stopped herself from those sort of feelings. She has found someone who loves her, and is trying to love him, but she has stopped herself for so long that she can't any more. This is her trying to say she loves him, and asking him to help her to feel again.
