All afternoon she sat on her blanket1
Reading her book and watching the clouds in the sky2
She brought herself a small little lunch and a bottle of wine3
Now she lays on her back daydreaming of her dream guy4
What would he be like she often wondered 5
Would he be tall dark and striking6
Or will he be a blonde with a deep tan and a muscular build7
When she met him would he even be to her liking8
Off in the distance she heard the soft sound of thunder 9
The skies were becoming dark and the winds started to blow10
The air took on a chill as she packed up her things11
She draped the blanket on her shoulders until she was ready to go 12
She hurriedly ran to her bike tied the basket onto the rack13
The storm that was coming in took up the sky as far as she could see14
She climbed onto her bike and started to ride15
Her auburn hair whipping in the wind as she started to flee16
Shadows of the clouds now pass over her17
The rain begins to fall18
She tries to ride faster19
Riding against the wind and rain makes her pace seem more like a crawl20
Now soaked to the bone she begins to shiver21
The darkness now surrounds her 22
The lightening is her only source of light now the rain beats down on her face, 23
She can no longer see everything now is just a blur24
She thinks she sees a light from a cabin just up the way25
Now pedaling as fast as she can, she rides up the wooded path26
Please, please, please God let them take me in27
Shivering uncontrollably she feared the storms wrath28
She knocks at the door and she heard someone stirring29
The door opens wide and a dark figure stands before her30
The light shines brightly behind him she cannot see his face31
He motions for her to come in, she enters his place32
He grabbed her a towel because she drips water on his floor33
She quickly dries off… her clothes are completely soaked through34
She looks down to notice a big cut on her knee35
He gathers a bandage he knows just what to do36
As he cleaned and wrapped up her knee37
She looked at his face his strong chiseled features 38
His complexion was olive and his eyes were green39
His hair black as coal and his body the best she had ever seen40
He drew her a warm bath and gave her a robe41
She got herself undressed and piled the clothes just outside the door42
He took her things and hung them to dry43
She could hear him rustling around hoping that he was not doing anything more44
She felt badly because he had done so much for her already45
Laying in the warmth of the bath her chills began to fade46
She closed her eyes and began to smile47
Thinking of her handsome rescuer coming to her aide48
There was a soft knock on the door49
He asked if she was all right50
She said that she was and she would be just another minute51
He told her that she was going to have to spend the night52
The storm is a big one and it is not safe to be outside53
The phone lines are down and soon we will not have any lights54
I have made you some tea and dug the candles out55
As funny as this is I would like to know your name if I might56
She laughs and tells him her name is Suzanne57
Suzanne is a nice name my name is Miguel58
It is my pleasure that tonight we should meet59
If you are hungry I can get you something to eat60
She hurries and puts on the robe61
It is tens times to big for her small little frame62
She laughs as she enters the room where he is63
Now look at you he snickers now who is to blame64
What were you doing out in this awful storm such as this65
I was in the park relaxing and reading and drinking some wine66
I was enjoying myself so much67
That I lost track of the time68
Your husband, won’t he worry about where you are69
She shakes her head and says there is no one waiting at home for me70
That is shame for one that is beautiful as you71
So what is your story, why are you here, you are alone to I see72
I lost my wife five years ago to cancer73
I moved to the mountains to seclude myself from others74
I did not want to face her death 75
And to no one did I want to answer76
The lights began to flicker then the power was completely off77
He quickly lit the candles the room now filled with a soft glow78
He stood there before her and looked out the big window79
Wow it looks as if this might turn to snow80
He decided that maybe he should start a fire81
He gathered his paper and then collected the wood 82
When he lit them the fire seemed to roar83
He quickly stepped back and then there he stood84
The firelight showed off his masculine frame85
His dark hair cover part of his face86
His smile was warm and inviting87
To think he was alone out here was a shame88
He came closer to her and sat by her side89
He did not say a word he just studied every inch of her face90
He looked at her so intensely that her heart began to pound91
With his finger the features of her face he began to trace92
She could see the desire build as his breath became heavy93
The flames from the fire danced within his eyes94
The more that he softly caressed her face95
The more she seemed to be mesmerized 96
She felt her breath deepen and her mind began to race97
He slid his hands at the back of her neck98
He pulled her slightly to him 99
His breath now upon her face100
Softly their lips met then over taken with an animal passion101
He pulled her even closer and held her tight to him102
She felt his hard body as he pressed it to hers103
The animal instincts have started to stir104
He laid her gently back onto the couch105
He untied the robe and opened it slightly106
Pulling off his shirt his muscles then glistened107
He then whispered ever so lightly108
I have not been with a woman since that of my wife109
I want you Suzanne I need you tonight110
Tears began to stream down her beautiful face111
Come and make love to me until the morning’s light112
He lies down next to her and removes the robe113
Exposing her supple breasts, his tongue finds his way to her nipple114
Teasing and sucking with the gentlest care115
He grips the back of her still wet hair116
He presses his body against her again117
She feels his hardness throbbing, aching to be with her118
She reaches down and unzips his pants119
Stopping her and once again asking her if she is sure120
Now that he is released she strokes it with her touch121
Moans fill the room as the passion continues to grow122
Moving above her he spreads her thighs apart123
He enters her slowly until the juices begin to flow124
Their passion explodes and fills the air125
Sweat now drips from both of their bodies126
She grips his back and continues to hold on127
Into one another’s eyes they now stare128
No words are uttered they just lie there129
Breath now heavy and trying to regain control130
A small little giggle escapes her what has she just done131
He keeps her close to him until the mornings sun132
He softly kisses her and holds her tight133
Stay with me Suzanne please don’t ever go134
I will cherish and love you forever135
Last night you see was love at first sight136
She looks deeply into his eyes, she cannot help but to smile137
So warm filled with emotion an emotion she thought she would only dream of138
She reaches up and gently kisses him 139
For me to this is a forever kind of love140

This is really good. You have a beautiful way of writing and are so honest in your writing.
-
a smooth series of events that stroke the reader to the eventual climax of the story and the emotions, and a lovely tale at that, Artis

this was really fun to read. the color combo made it a bit hard on the eyes but other than that it was really enjoyable. hope to read more >;o)

It is far nicer to read something written well, like this, than the crude attempts with vulgar words than many must think is erotica. Very nice work and I congratulate you on your abilities.

Thank you for letting us into your fantasy

what a beautiful, gentle warm-hearted narrative poem. you could possibly afford to prune it away a little to make it more compact but it's pretty good the way it is. an enjoyable and uplifting read - made me wonder if it was fantasy or real - it really is very nice...
all the best,
