Time flies doesn’t it? You can try to forget that fact, but sooner or later…it will sneak up on you and harshly remind you of its busy schedule. It waits for no one. No matter how hard you try. You can’t get it to stop. We, as a whole, know that oh too well. We often look to the past and remember things that we regretted doing, and the things that just went by too fast. Oh how we are saddened when thinking of a moment that passed by too quickly, and angered of a situation handled wrongly. We know of times rush, though we sometimes do not understand it. Our heart, longing for things not yet seen and long forgotten constantly reminds us. Why then, are we so surprised by its passing?1
Imagine you’re a kid again, sitting in that oh too familiar sand box, sifting the sand through our tiny fingers. It was all then so simple to us. It was just sand. It was just flowing out of our hands. Some of us liked the feeling of it, the rushing grains. When I think of it now. I recognize the overused metaphor of the sand slipping through our fingers, like time and moments. No matter how hard you try those grains will slip through the cracks and pass. As if we all hold a certain handful of that sand. Watching the moments pass through our fingers in the form of grains. Foolishly trying to catch them again.
Please tell me what you think

I like your definition on time and how it is so precious, I believe we need to appreciate the time we have because one day time will desert us with no regrets
