“I’m afraid of nothing, I fear . . . ” I said with a hand grasping the sunset and trying to catch the sun, though it is still so very far away. She sighed gently, the wind drifts by lightly, but even that is not enough to blow away the sorrow from her heart. “Trying to be humourous, yes?” I look out toward the sky, all colored with the only thing not within my reach . . . that and . . . “What are you looking for?” She asks, joining me near the edge, never once looking down to wince upon the rocks that moan for our blood. “Something,” I say, pulling my arm back and tossing a rock so I might puncture the sky. 1
“That something being?” She grunts, tossing another missile head first for the sun, only to watch it fade away into the blue of the endless sky. “I don’t know yet. What are you looking for?” I say, with a harsh throw, almost tossing myself with the stone. “Love,” She says, plainly. “What kind of love?” I reach for a pebble and find her hand instead. “Hmm . . . ” She hums gently against my cheek, waiting for me to take her in an embrace. As an arm reaches for her, a great sighs exits her lungs and I know what causes such. “He is here, isn’t he?” I say, a chill running over my body for I truly fear I shall be caught.
Author notes

I'm not really sure I get the storyline with this one. Perhaps it needs explained a little better. I love the descriptions and word use, amazing imagery!
Good Luck!

To break down the story a bit. it's about a demon named constantine who falls in love with the priest's fiance...it explains more of it as it goes into the first chapter...not much is said since...idk....

Wonderful imagination!
I keep saying that as I read your posted works, the imagery, the allusions and illusions, all the tricks of the trade to tamper and tease temptation out of the written word.
I can imagine what your poetry might be if you participated in what they call a 'slam', nowadays, a poetry reading or recital before a live audience.
Not a criticism, mind you, just an acknowledgment, that you are a fledgling writer, trying your wings from a foot off of the ground, then a porch rail, then a tree limb and then off into the wild blue yonder.
The discipline and focus will come with time, of that I have no doubt, but at the moment your brilliance is as the sun, warming rays shooting off in all directions without control or purpose other than expression.
Just lovely!
