The Dark One Angel - *Two*

That night she almost slept soundly for once in her life.1

Everything felt tranquil and peaceful, like she could finally close her eyes and feel safe knowing that nothing could harm her.2

It was as if she could feel his pleasant eyes watching over her, sweeping his power of protection across her, letting her know that nothing bad was going to happen. It would be alright, she would wake up after her slumber unharmed.3

In the morning the sun washed itself around her refreshed body.4

She experienced the sensation of sleep in her eyes, the crusty bits of sand from the sand man made her smile, as she wiped it from the corner of her eyes.5

The bedroom door swung open, her guardian stood in the door way. His face full of anger and age and she knew what was coming. 6

Could she have been so wrong about her Angel? Maybe he had been a figment of her imagination, a part of her delusional sate of mind. How could she have been such a fool to put her faith in something so strongly?7

Rage infuriated the man, he unbuckled his belt, walking angrily over to her, forcing her hand on him.8

Then something pulled him back, the most dangerous shot of pain swirled its way around his body. Like a knife had been forced into his spine and every inch of his bad soul was being freed and destroyed.9

She watched amazed as he squirmed, clutching his stomach, falling on his knees. In a crumpled heap of the floor. Crying in agony.10

The noise was enough to be heard by her Mother, who ran into the room to see the dilemma.11

Seeing her lover in agony on the floor she bent down almost immediately, wrapping her arms around him.12

“What have you done to him You animal?” she cried, trying to help him up.13

“Nothing compared to what he was about to do to me,” she replied, jumping of her bed, making her way out of the room and outside the house.14

Although it killed her to know that even her own Mother insisted she was the child of the devil, that she was the animal. It did not seem to worry her as much as before.15

For her angel had been her savior, and she longed for the warmness of his embrace more than anything she had ever longed for in her lonely existence.

I find that i am reading though this quickly and wonder if i am missing something. I honestly feel like some of the details are missing, but i am getting the central of the story and enjoying it. I thought her mothers lover died though, or did he just fall down> I was confused at that. Very good chapter...moving on to the next!

    Hmm

    'knees in a crumpled heap',

She has a guardian angel which is also a vampire? Did her mother's lover die? Well, this is coming along. Has she left home for good?

I liked the twist you made in this, though it made me sad. The idea of an angel watching you has always fascinated me. Some of the things you say amaze me!

Line 2 in Para. 3 Did you mean "that" instead of "what"?

Another wonderful chapter. Wow! The words you are using in this one is truly amazing me. It is incredible! The whole story so far just has this completley mesmerizing, mystical feel to it and leaves me wanting more. Beautifully written once again and so many emotions coming to light here in this one.
