The sadness of love

Love is the most powerful feeling in the world. It brings laughter, happiness and sometimes sadness. When that love turns to complete sadness it is time to let go. It is love no more.

Author notes

Just the way I feel at the moment. To clarify in case some think I mean death, I don't. I know death brings sadness, but love still remains. I mean when loving someone makes you sad all the time.

    Now that is brutally honest...
There is no point wallowing in the pain and sadness of a love that no longer exists

I feel every word as I have been here so many times and sometimes to move on with your life you have to let that bitterness and sadness go

So true...love makes you feel like you can fly at one moment, and feel deep pain for the one you love the next. Love is so....gosh I can't even begin....this is a great statement. When the love dies, it's time to let go and move on. Just about everyone can relate to this. GREAT JOb and GOOD LUCK! -Liz

I just tried posting this and then I had internet connections. Saved it before I had to restart my computer:

I know how you feel. I loved someone for years! I even set her free as her love was no longer strong like the one I had for her. It took years to get over her. I was such in a sad state that my friends didn't know what to do. The first two years had to be the worst though. My friends are so glad that I'm much better today. Somehow, I think I will always have some love for her, I'm just glad it's not the kind that I would take her back. I finally did set her free so I can move on. I think this is what you will have to do also. Just don't let it take a great number of years where it will turn into a decade or more. Good luck in the contest!

I can really relate to what you said. I always seem to end up in the same situation. It makes me wonder if maybe I'm just to much of a push over or something. I think there are some people who always will have a spot in one's heart. There is someone from my past that will always hold one in mine as well, but I would never take him back. I may be a push over, but I'm not completley nuts considering how he hurt me. I'm glad that you are doing better

Thanks for the comment. Your comments seem to always have a way to make me feel better

    Mybe yes, maybe no

Depends on the version of sadness that applies. Watching a loved one suffer is utter sadness yet it is love that causes the sadness.
    Good point you make, however.

Love is the most powerful emotion in the world. You have so many facets in this for me to post anything more then my comment above would be futile.
