So many things have come and gone. So many things have passed through my life, some leaving light scratches, some cutting into my being, and then others which shot me with the candescent light of hope and love, strength and well-being, elation and humbleness. Looking back on my rather short time on earth, it is hard to procure a definitive color. But try, I will.1
After thinking long and hard, I suppose my color would be a grey, but not quite a silver. Silver is too pure and has little imagination; it glints and smiles always. But grey can show much more. Grey seems to be what occurs after white--pure and unmarked--has been transformed, however not fully. My wings are not black. I'm not that extreme, but they are grey. Indeed.2
Additionally, my wings are polished. They shine when caught in the right light. Sparkle, if you will. It is then when they remember the whiteness, when everything feels right in me, in my soul, when I'm smiling and laughing and helping. It is then when they remember hope.3
My soul is close to the same color, but laced and entwined with threads of reds, blues, and vibrant greens, spiraling in unimaginable shapes and patterns. Red for strength and resolve; blue for peace, for hope; and green for energy and wisdom. It is my soul that pumps my wings, wills them to fly in the sunlight and remember...4

Nice soul memory. I liked your description of your etheric layer and how your wings changed as they spread out through your energy layers and picked up the sparkle of these layers as your wings moved out from your center. Interesting use of your inner colors also. They match chakra energy center colors. The first chakra is red and grounds us to this earthly plane. Blue is the fifth chakra located in the area of our throats and is responsible for communication, thus hope and peace. Green is the color of our fifth chakra and is located in the area of our heart. This is where the energy of the earth and energy of the universe meet and flows outward to our energy fields that surround us and communicates with those around us, true wisdom. I don't know if you know anything about our energy centers and the fields that surround us but you did a great job in decribing them and their purpose. Your description would seem to describe your soul's purpose for this lifetime. may you be blessed
