Marcy Canillie

Marcy slowly forced her eyes open. A light breeze was in the room. Did I open the window at night? Marcy wondered. Marcy shook that thought out of her head. It doesn't happen to normal people like me. Marcy had explained to herself clearly. Then, she slowly climbed out of her bed. Oh, mom and dad are always working. Marcy reminded herself sadly. Marcy strolled over to her closet. She stared at all her squished clothes. Hmmm....... that long-sleeved, light-pink shirt, with jeans. Marcy thought. Then, she began to take off her pajamas, but got a feeling of someone staring at her.21

Marcy quickly put her pajamas back on. " I,... is ... is anyone there?" Marcy asked stupidly. Suddenly, the feeling was gone. Hmmm..... Oh well! Marcy thought, and began to change into her chosen outfit. Marcy slipped downstairs, thinking about the feeling, it gave shivers down her spine. Marcy got cereal and juice. She ate quickly and nervously. She wanted to go outside, out of her "haunted" house! It never was like this..... until today. Marcy washed her hands and wiped her mouth, hurridley. She rushed to the door. But, once she turned the golden knob- it wouldn't open! Marcy panicked. Her hands broke into a sweat. Wh-y.... won't it open!? Marcy thought dreadfully. She took a deep breath, trying to calm down. WHY IN THE WORLD WON'T IT OPEN?! Marcy wondered, trying to stay calm2

" Why won't you open?" she yelled at the door.3

" Is it something I did?" Marcy demanded.4

Marcy heard faintly, " I can't let you through."5

" BUT WHY???" Marcy shouted at the top of her lungs.
After a few moments, whatever was keeping the door shut gave up entirely and opened the door for her. Marcy took a deep breath and walked to school.6

" We are going to learn about Marcy Canillie." Marcy Canillie? thought Marcy. Sigh...... " First, her birth date.... was oddly unknown." She had long, said to be light- colored hair." Now, that is all we are going to be learning today. We'll learn more over time." Mrs. Tallmah explained. Marcy didn't like the description of Marcy Canillie.... it sounded TOO familiar. Hmmm.....8

" But, before we move on, are there any questions?" Mrs. Tallmah asked. Marcy's eyes widened. A girl, Elena, raised her hand. " Yes, Elena Goon." Mrs. Tallmah called out. Elena sat up straight. " Was she pretty?" she asked, flicking her hair behind her back. " Yes, she was said to be very beautiful." explained Mrs. Tallmah. Elena slumped back down in her seat. Marcy knew she couldn't stand people who were prettier than her... like herself. Huh? No... It can't mean anything, Marcy thought. She almost missed a guy who raised his hand.9

" Yes, Tom." Mrs. Talmah called." Was she anything special?" he asked. " We will learn that later, Tom." Mrs. Tallmah said. Another girl raised her hand patiently. " Why was she special?" she asked. " We'll learn that later on as well". Mrs. Tallmah said. " Any more questions?" Marcy managed to raise her trembling hand. " Yes?" Mrs. Tallmah questioned. " W... what was her full name?" Marcy asked softly. " We'll.. me might learn that later." assured Mrs. Tallmah. Marcy frowned sadly. " Now.. any last questions?" Mrs. Tallmah questioned. The class was quiet and no one else raised their hand. Maybe they're pondering... thought Marcy. Class went on.....10

Marcy walked home, exhausted from school. As soon as she opened the door, which was unlocked, Jaslena shouted, " Boo!" Marcy dropped her jaw. " That's supposed to scare me?" Marcy asked. Jaslena shrugged. " Hey.. trespasser, how'd you get your booty in that here house of mine?" Marcy questioned Jaslena. Jaslena laughed. " Thanks a lot, guess I'm not welcome in your home." Jaslena joked. " It gets spooky here when I'm alone." Marcy explained. " What do you mean?" asked Jaslena. Marcy blushed. " F.. forget I ever said that." Marcy urged, embarrased. Jaslena laughed. " I.. it's not funny." Marcy said seriously. " Hey, let's play truth or dare!" Marcy exclaimed, trying to change the subject, " The two of us?" Okay!" Jaslena said excitedly. 11

Several hours later...12

" Wow, we played for a long time!" Marcy noticed. " Nonsense, I leanred more from you!" Jaslena said, winking. " Well, I knew you got close to guys, but never knew you actually kissed one!" Marcy said. Jaslena blushed. " I can't believe you have never kissed a guy!" Jaslena said back. " I'm only ten!" explained Marcy. " I was only nine." Jaslena bragged. Marcy's face grew hot. They giggled akawardly for a moment, in silence. Jaslena's a cool friend, thought Marcy. " Oh, I almost forgot! I have a surprise!" Jaslena screeched. " What?" asked Marcy. Jaslena pulled out a book from her backpack. The title was Marcy Canillie.13

Marcy gasped. " Uh.. thanks Jaslena, could you go home? I would like to read it alone." Marcy said. " Oh, okay." Jaslena said, a little sadly. Marcy took Jaslena out the door and waved goodbye.1214

Marcy took a deep breath and got to page one. The book had no cover, but it was a golden color. She began to read slowly:2315

Marcy Canillie. A legend to some, because her death and birth were all a mystery.16

How could there be such a person? Marcy thought.4517

She continued reading: She had blonde, almost yellow-colored hair Her eyes were half purple and half light blue. When she was ten.. it was the age of most rememberance of her. After that, she dissappeared mysteriously.18

Resovoliek was her full name. Her middle name was unknown or lost. She had no siblings. Her parents died. HER PARENTS DIED??? Tears dropped on the pages from Marcy's eyes. And she was a princess... engaged. Marcy closed the book slowly. She was a princess, that can't be me. Marcy decided happily. " Phew, I'm not Marcy Canillie!" she said aloud joyfully with her arms in the air, like an eagle soaring high off the ground.19

She wanted to call Jaslena back, but thought that would be weird. Poor Jaslena... thought Marcy. Where did she get it?.... Marcy crawled on her bed. She didn't have anything to do. But, it was kinda sad, Marcy Canillie wasn't herself but.. but if she was.... " No, don't think about it!" Marcy thought fearfully. She thought about the horrible possibility. 20

No birth or death date written.... looks just like me.... was my age last time.... her mom and dad died... engaged. 21

The following day, Marcy came back from school tiredly, and ate a snack. She dragged herself and her backpack upstairs. Sigh... who does like homework? Marcy wondered. She always did hers at the last minute. Marcy shook her head to stop thinking of homework and school. It disgusted her. As soon as she got in her room, she plopped on her bed. Ahh. it's nice to be home. thought Marcy, since no " ghost" incidents had occured recently. " How did I ever think I was Marcy Canillie? She's married and long gone." Marcy said aloud to herself.22

Suddenly, Marcy felt wind in the room. A shiver ran down her back and she gasped. There, standing in the middle of the room, was a boy about her age. He looked blonde. " Wh-wh-what, y-you, do-doing?" Marcy managed to say. " Wow! You're beautiful! But, I didn't come to tell you that, it's something important that woud change your life." he said. Marcy grabbed her book and threw it at him. " Get out of my roooom! I don't want to hear your nonsense!" Marcy cried. Unfortunately, he dodged the book. " I came to tell you- about - well, about you." the boy explained. " I-I already know plenty about me! You're a scary ghost! Go away!" Marcy shouted back. The boy shook his head " You forgot..??? he questioned. Marcy didn't do or say anything, just stared at the boy. Then, she managed to ask, " Who are you?" " Don't you remember me, Marcy Canillie? I'm your husband to be- we're engaged, you are my princess." 23

Marcy's heart pounded. She couldn't believe what this.. this ghost said. Marcy opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. A tear slipped out of her eye. " I... want you to come with me back to our real time- our home." the boy ( whose name was Mervev) said, reaching out his hand for Marcy's. Marcy yelled, " Go away! My mom and dad are still alive! I have a great best friend, I love it here, I don't believe you!" Marcy explained, tears running down her cheek, like water down a waterfall. " Don't cry, I know how you feel." Mervev cooed. Marcy shook her head, tears flying around her face. 24

" No, go away!" she shouted25

He's really cute.. but he's crazy.. and scary!! Marcy thought fearfully. Mervev sighed. " I wouldn't want to force you but..." Mervev said. Marcy's eyes widened with fear. " Force me??!!!" " What do you want me to do exactly?" Marcy questioned. " I want you to come with me, for now." Mervev told, his hand still outstretched. " I won't go...." Marcy explained. " Sorry, but you must come." Mervev ordered. Marcy pulled her hands behind her back. " I won't go! I won't go! I won't go!" Marcy screeched. Mervev shook his head. " The hard way then." he said. Marcy gasped.26

Mervev got on her bed and crawled to her. Marcy's eyes widened with fear and her hands shook. Marcy closed her eyes and quickly opened them again. Mervev grabbed her arm and they Marcy saw a quick flash and then darkness.27

They were suddenly swallowed by a bright blue light. Marcy slowly opened her eyes. G-green? Marcy wondered. I was in my room and... Marcy gasped. She slowly sat up. To her horror, emerald grass was all around. Nothing, no one else... Wait, she saw Mervev! He was sitting on the grass, probably waiting for her to wake up. Marcy noticed the grass was very tall... hmmm, she thought.. I have an idea.... I'll crawl away from this place. She began slithering slowly. While she slithered, grass prickled her face, and bugs crawled near her nose. When she seemed far away from Mervev, she quickened her pace. But, she shouldn't have. A grass cut Marcy's cheek. She gave an unstoppable yelp. NO, she thought. Mervev's going to come over here! She staggered to her knees and stood up. Marcy began running faster than she had ever run before in her life. Suddenly, she crashed into something and fell back on her butt.28

She saw it was Mervev! H.how? Marcy thought incredibly. " Marcy, don't run away." Mervev said sadly. " Who are you to order me around?" Marcy shouted. " I'm your husband to be." Mervev explained. " No!" Marcy yelled fearfully. " I accidentally got us to the wrong place, let's go to the correct place, the castle." Mervev said, reaching out his hand. " Take me home!!!" Marcy demanded. Mervev strolled over to Marcy and wrapped his arm around her. " You will soon, but not now, not now." he said, grinning.29

Marcy opened her eyes quickly ajar to see where they were. There, in front of her, was a castle, a real old castle! She beamed at it. Finally, she noticed Mervev still hugging her. Marcy shoved him away. " I hate you, you know! Were you the scary ghost making all those noises and staring at me when I was getting dressed that one time?" Marcy asked. " ..... Yes." Mervev admitted, blushing. Marcy strolled over to him. They were at eye level with one another and Marcy glared at him. " Huh?" Mervev asked. " This." Marcy said, raising an eyebrow. She slowly raised her fist and punched him in the face. That force knocked him over. Marcy started running toward the castle. She could hear Mervev screaming back at her, " That really hurt!"30

Marcy froze. All the people wore strange, really old clothing, and all were either sluggish or hurridley walking along. Wow.. a small village.... in the castle walls! Marcy thought. Then, she remembered home. Marcy started to cry. " You are a slow runner.!" Marcy heard behind her. Marcy gasped. Mervev had caught up!! She started running, but gave up because of the all the people watching, plus she was so exhausted, she could barely breathe.2631

Marcy suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. " Your clothes are dirty. Don't you want to get changed?" Mervev asked. Marcy shrugged him off. " You're crazy!" Marcy exclaimed. " NO, I mean to go to our castle to change your outfit." Mervev explained, laughing. OUR castle? Marcy wondered. Mervev held out his hand. " You're not going to...????" Marcy asked. " NO, we're going to walk to the castle together." Mervev said with a smile. Marcy put her hand in his shyly. " After you get dressed, we'll talk about the mission." Mervev explained. " The mission?" Marcy questioned. " You'll know." Mervev told. They began walking. " So, earlier, what did you mean by we're engaged or we were engaged?" Marcy askedshyly. Mervev stopped. " I can't tell you, when we get there." Mervev replied. They walked some more, skipping ocassionally. Marcy didn't focus on the strange people surrounding them. " The mission", whatever that was, bothered Marcy, a lot. 732

They finally got to the gate. Marcy quickly slipped her hand away. " Who are you suspicious - looking folks?" the two guards asked. Marcy gulped. The guards frightened Marcy.1933

" Why, it is I, Mervev, and this is... Marcy Canillie." Mervev explained. " Oh! Welcome! Go right in." one of the guards said. Marcy nervously walked in and gasped. It was wonderful, just like in the books. " So.. you don't hate me anymore?" Mervev asked curiously. Marcy glared at him. " I hate you and I will always hate you!" Marcy raged. Mervev shook his head. " Hey, everybody, is anybody here?" Marcy yelled. Suddenly, she heard a voice.21034

" Does that sound like....?"! It was actually the whole castle. Oops. Was I that loud? Marcy oddly wondered. " It is me Mervev, and I finally found my beloved Marcy Canillie." Mervev said. My beloved? Marcy thought grossly. " She's back?! Marcy heard someone shout. But, I hate it here! Marcy reminded herself. A shiver ran down her back. I don't belong here... I want Jaslena, Mom and Dad, even school! Marcy told herself. Her throat stung from holding back tears. A single tear escaped.31135

A woman rushed over. " Oh, it's you , my princess! And Mervev brought you back.. but... his and her highness passed away some some time ago." the woman replied. She bowed her head. " W-we couldn't do anything, remember?" she asked. Marcy wanted to shout, " No! My mom and dad are alive!" But, all she did was clench her fists. " Oh, sorry." the woman added and bowed. " I forgot to bow, forgive me." she said, embarrased. " It's okay." Marcy whispered, not minding. No one had to bow to me, Marcy wondered. " What were their names?" Marcy managed to ask.41236

" They were king Ressthen and queen Lahornora." the woman explained. That's not my mom and dad's names Marcy thought oddly. " Um..." Marcy didn't finish her sentence. " She would like to change into somthing suitable, I presume." Mervev suggested. " Now,remember this is our castle." He smiled at Marcy and blushed.37

Soon, Mervev left her side and she followed the woman. She didn't want to remember her as " the woman." Hmm...?? Marcy stopped. She took a breath. " What is your name?" Marcy asked. " It is Talmah." the woman explained. Talmah... Talmah... Marcy thought sadly, as she remembered her teacher talking. 238

" Where are you taking me?" Marcy asked, cautiously. " To change that odd outfit." Talmah spoke, not stopping. " Ah, we are finally here." Talmah said, leading her to a door. Marcy opened the door. She went inside. Marcy gasped. "So many dresses!" Marcy marveled. But.. my real clothes... Marcy thought sadly. " Uh, you may pick one." Talmah said, and closed the door. Marcy looked around. She picked up a long, purple silken dress. In between her fingers, it felt smooth and soft. " This dress seems suitable." Marcy assumed. " I can put it on myself." Marcy added. " What ever you say, your highness." Talmah told, unable to refuse.339

Marcy made Talmah turn around as she quickly dressed. " How do I look?" Marcy asked shyly. " Like a princess." Talmah said, smiling. Marcy handed her old, dirty clothes to Talmah. " Make sure to wash these and put them somewhere safe." Marcy ordered. She wanted to look around, deeper inside the castle.440

Marcy searched around for Mervev. She found him standing near the wall, waiting. " Uh.. Mervev? Weren't you going to tell me.. about.. us?" Marcy questioned, letting go of her dress in between her fingers. Mervev turned to her. He blushed. " Yes, I was." Mervev said shyly. " Wait a moment." Mervev said, and walked away. Soon, he brought two chairs over. " We lived in two different castles. We began to see each other, we fell in love, and soon after, got engaged. But, then, you disappeared. I looked for you. So, then I finally found you, in the future. That's the short version of the tale." Mervev explained. " Too short." Marcy added." I need details." Marcy explained.641

" What details are there?" Mervev asked. Marcy sighed. " You're so stupid! And I'm looking around!" Marcy yelled. She stood up and ran in an uncertain direction. "Marcy!" Mervev shouted, but to Marcy, he was far away by that time. Is there a prison here? Marcy wondered. Somehow, she thought it was near. Marcy kept walking in a straight line. The halls got darker. Then, it came to a dead end. Wait... Marcy thought. She saw a square below her feet. Marcy got off of it. It took all her strength to open it, with her nails. Marcy ended up breaking them all. She whimpered softly.742

It looks dark... Marcy noticed. She looked around. Marcy saw a candle on the wall and she took it. She began climbing down into the scary darkness. One hand was on her dress skirt so she wouldn't step on it, and the other gripping the candle in fear. Marcy walked slowly down until she felt no more stairs beneath her feet. Marcy gasped. It was a prison! Her heart began to pound and her hands began to sweat. Bones!! Marcy realized fearfully, looking into each cage. There were only bones and dust. A shiver ran down Marcy's back when she saw a skeleton leaning against a wall in one of the cages. There was only one cage left she hadn't seen yet. Marcy held her breath, she was almost there. As soon as she was there, her candle went out and she heard a voice whisper, " What nice blood you have."43

The voice was scary and boyish. Marcy touched her cheek. She remembered the grass in that other far off land. There was dried blood on it. Suddenly, Marcy remembered what had just happened and she dropped her candle. Her heart pounded and raised like thunder. Then, she gave a very high pitched scream. " That was a very loud scream from a little girl like you." she heard the voice say. " Who are you?" Marcy asked. " Vreel, a strong vampire." she heard in the dark. " No way! Vampires don't exist!" Marcy shouted. " OF course we do." Vreel said. Marcy felt faint. " Why are you in here, Vreel?" Marcy tried to ask bravely. " For nothing! All I did was drink a dove's blood" Vreel explained. " It was almost dead, anyway." Vreel explained. " Yeah.. you just sit there, while I run." Marcy said feafully. She got into position, but suddenly felt a hand with long sharp nails on her shoulder.1044

Marcy screamed even louder than before, and shoved the hand off. She began running, but fell on her knees. It's this dress! she realized. Marcy noticed something else. There were red dots, where the hand had been on her shoulder. He.. dug his nails into my skin! Marcy thought madly. "MM... Marcy." she heard from Vreel. She shivered. Marcy clenched her teeth. No one messes with me! she raged. Marcy ran back to where he was. She gasped. Vreel was standing there, with a ball of fire hovering above his right arm. " You didn't think I had any powers?" he questioned. She actually saw him now. MArcy stared at him. He had black hair, brown eyes, and dark black and green clothing.1145

Marcy just noticed he was out of the cage. OUT OF THE CAGE??? " I wanted to give you this!" Marcy said and punched him in the face. But, when he got up, she noticed he was smiling. Huh? There was blood dripping from his mouth, why is he so happy? Marcy wondered. Marcy realized in horror- IT WASHERS. She stared at her hand. It had two small holes with blood on them. I hit him where his teeth were, down further than his mouth! Marcy thought painfully. Her hands started feeling very painful. OH, he's the scary vampire in that book! Marcy realized suddenly. 46

Marcy started running. " Mervev, heeeelp!" she screeched. Marcy thought she'd never see the day when she needed Mervev's help, or that she would ever call his name out. Marcy was still unsure of where the stairs were, and she panicked. Marcy stopped and looked around. Everything was blurry, worse than the faint candlelight. Suddenly, she felt a presence behind her back. " Your neck.. beautiful." she heard Vreel say. Noooo! Marcy dreaded. She felt an arm around her neck. Vreel tipped her over like they do in romantic movies. No! He's going to suck my blood! Marcy thought fearfully. " Stop, right there!" She heard a familiar voice shout, it was Mervev! " The Prince!" Vreel hissed, dropping Marcy. She quickly stood up. Marcy gave him a good punch on the back of his head. " It's what you get!" Marcy said, cracking her knuckles.247

" So... you didn't need too much of my help... why did you come here?" Mervev asked. " Why is he here, what's his story?" Marcy questioned, ignoring Mervev's question. Mervev took Marcy to the steps. They sat down. " We saw, in the night- him. He was drinking from a dove and we took him here to keep things from further harm." Mervev told. " Wait.." Marcy stood up. " Take him out of here. I want to talk to him." said Marcy.348

Mervev called Talmah. Together, they pulled Vreel out of the prison. Marcy followed them as they took Vreel to a room and tied him to a chair. That's kinda cruel.... Marcy thought. Marcy's heart pounded, she never thought she'd see a real vampire. Never... or even thought of punching one. Vreel opened his eyes. They showed anger and a little happiness at the same time. " Why am I here?!" Vreel demanded. " You have got some explaining do." Mervev said, glaring at Vreel. " Explaining?" Vreel questioned. " Oh." Vreel said, moments later. " Well, you see...what harm did I do to a DYING bird? Our people are starving, trying not to get to you humans. So, you better let me go." Vreel suggested harshly. Mervev raised an eyebrow. " You talk more mature than you really are... even though you're almost the same age as me." said Mervev. " You too." Vreel joked. " I don't think he knows anything else." Marcy stated.549

" These ropes hurt!" Vreel whined. I can't help it, I want to go home! Marcy thought sadly. " I want to go home! I don't want vampires, or princesses, or castles, or old times, or prisons, or you, Mervev! You, Vreel! I hate you all! And all these unknown things! I want to go home, NOW!" Marcy hollered. Everyone's eyes widened. " Ooh, you kidnapped a girl! And you say I'm bad!" Vreel joked. Indeed.. very unknown things were happening.650

Mervev looked around. " Marcy, let's go." he said. " Talmah, make sure there are guards inside and out of that room." Mervev ordered. Vreel frowned. Mervev took Marcy's hand and they left the room. " What is it?" Marcy asked, pulling her hand away. " I want to talk to you." Mervev replied. " Fine." Marcy puffed. She followed Mervev as he lead her to another room in the castle. When they got there, Mervev locked the door. Marcy found a chair to sit in. Mervev dragged a chair in front of her. " Didn't you think it was weird when I took you to thr past? When I was invisible? The time you tried to crawl away and I ended up in front of you? When I quickly caught up to you? Those are all powers." 851

Powers, you say?" Marcy asked. Marcy didn't get it. " Those were the powers of invisibility, speed, fire, and teleportation." Mervev told. " Do I have one?" asked Marcy. " That might be." Mervev suggested. Marcy got angry. She didn't want to be special, only NORMAL. She rushed to the door. " Wait, your wounds." Mervev demanded. Marcy sighed and went back to the chair. " Uh.." Mervev didn't finish his sentence. " What?" Marcy questioned. " I also have some power.. of healing." Mervev explained.952

Huh? Marcy thought. " Give me your hand." Mervev said. Marcy nervously gave him it. Mervev took her hand. He closed his eyes. With his other hand, he put it over her wounds. A quick flash appeared. Marcy took her hand away and noticed it was gone. Macy dropped a jaw. Mervev stood up and went behind Marcy. She blushed. Mervev put a hand on her hurt shoulder and the flash appeared again. Mervev came back to his chair. He slid his closer to Marcy's. " I wouldn't want to pu my hand on your face, so.." Mervev said. Marcy's hands began to sweat and her heart pouned faster.1153

" So, what are you going to do?" Marcy asked. " Marcy... this...." Mervev told. He closed his eyes, leaned over and kissed her cheek. It lasted for a good second or two before the flash. Marcy's face heated up. " You!" she shouted. Marcy tried to hit him with all her might. But, she missed and fell backwards with her chair. Marcy managed to scream.1254

Mervev came over and picked Marcy up in his arms. " You're too violent." Mervev stated. Marcy couldn't do anything from his strong grip. " Marcy... I love you." Mervev whispered. Mervev put his face near hers, so they were inches apart. Mervev pulled Marcy up and kissed her. 55

Marcy felt Mervev's lips touch hers. They were smooth and soft. She couldn't pull away. Finally, Marcy squirmed away and fell. Her face was heating up. " Mervev, I was finally thinking you were a decent person!" Marcy cried. Marcy threw a book at him and dashed out of the room in tears. I want to go home! she thought angrily, as she dashed through the halls, all around the castle. She finally came to a stop near the front gate. " Let me through!" Marcy ordered. The guards opened the black wrought iron gate and Marcy ran through, out of the castle courtyards. Marcy didn't know where to run. Suddenly, she stopped in the village, remembering what Mervev said. What powers do I have? If any? Marcy wondered. But why? Why am I here? This is just a bad dream! Marcy told herself. She got to her knees and punched the ground. Marcy began crying, not caring about the strangers staring at her. " I don't care, I want to go home!" Marcy raged. Marcy stood up. A woman was staring at her. " Do you need help?" she asked. " Yes, someone kidnapped me and I can't find my way home." Marcy sobbed. " It's okay. I am Amandle, you may stay with me." the woman said. Marcy nodded and whispered, " Thank you." Amandle took her to a house that looked like all the others. Marcy still thought, WHY?256

The house was small and had no upstairs. But, it was interesting and had all the must-haves. " Come in" Amandle invited. Marcy came inside and sat in a rocking chair, while Amandle closed the front door. Then, Amandle sat in a chair next to Marcy's. " My home is far far away from here. I really want to go back." Marcy said sadly. " You poor thing." said Amandle, taking her hands. " One of my friends had the same thing." Amandle said sadly. " What did she do to fix it?" Marcy asked softly. " She.. sorry.. I cannot remember." Amandle apolgized. " Tis okay. I have a different situation." Marcy tried to explaine. " Oh.. don't open the door, I am hiding from someone." " Oh? From whom?" asked Amandle. " Mer-- uh-- someone." Marcy stuttered. " I-i'll get you something to drink." Amandle said and walked off. Marcy was left to sit alone and think. Mervev is bound to find me soon. Marcy thought. Her hands began to sweat from the thought of it. She began to think hard about going home. About Jaslena. About Mrs. Talmah, everything. And about how much her life had changed. She began to want to be there with all her heart. Marcy felt strange. She closed her eyes. Suddenly, Marcy's hair looked like it had green highlights and it glowed. Marcy flashed away.457

" I brought you--" Amandle gasped. " Thanks for your help! I'm going home now!" Marcy shouted quickly before the light swallowed her. Marcy felt faint. The vison of Amandle, her house and everything dissapeared. Marcy shut her eyes tight and then opened them again. She was on the floor of her bedroom. Was that all a dream? Marcy wondered. Marcy slowly stood up and looked at herself in the mirror- she gasped- she still had the purple dress on. I'll call Jaslena, Marcy thought, and picked up the phone. " Hi Jaslena." she said into the phone. " Hi Marcy, come over." she said back." Marcy hung up the phone, it was strange being back in the modern world. Should I tell her about Vreel and Mervev? Marcy wondered. Soon, she heard a knock on the door. She quickly changed to normal clothes and went downstairs. Marcy opened the door and Jaslena stepped in. They went upstairs into Marcy's bedroom. They both sat on Marcy's bed. " How long was I gone?" Marcy asked. " For a while, where were you?" Jaslena asked. " Somewhere, what happened while I was gone?" Marcy questioned. " We finished learning about Marcy Canillie. You have a LOT to make up at school." Jaslena explained. Marcy groaned.658

Marcy woke up and got dressed. She grabbed her backpack and walked to school. She walked with Jaslena and chatted, it was nice for things to be back to normal. Marcy walked into the classroom and took her seat by the window. Soon, everyone was there. " Class, listen up." Mrs. Talmah began. " We have two new students, here they are. This is Vreel and this is Mervev." Marcy gasped.59

Wasn't really what I was looking for for the contest but thanks for entering! It was hard to follow a little. There were errors and some points of confusion between characters. Just as a suggestion for future reference, you may want to split your conversations between people into separate paragraphs so that it's easier to read. Overall it was alright. Keep writing and thanks for entering!

For your age, you write a good story. May I suggest you use a seperate line for the dialogue when a different person is speaking. This makes the story flow better and the reader knows who is speaking next. You have a big imagination and lots of creativity and I wish you happy writing. Thanks for entering and good luck.

Stories actually pretty good, but there's a few things that could use improvement.

    - try using her name less, exspesally in the first paragraph.

    - The thoughts in the middle of paragraphs thing is really confusing. You should seperate them out into there own line.

    - Do the same with diolog as you do with thoughts. So its more clear who's speaking.

Its good, taking into acount your age, my writing was FAR worce at thirteen. You have talent, you just gotta learn how to use it. good story, and good luck.
