My wings are mostly transparent, revealing a large part of who I am to those who pass me by. However, in the outer high section of my wings, begins a swirling effect of thick, white pearlescence. Like the inside of a shell, there are many blends of colour within each splash. This build up of rainbow coloured life experiences causes a heaviness and requires extra effort for my wings to move. This part of me isn't so easy to see. Not many do, but those who are curious and stay long enough to notice, are usually there to stay. All over my wings is a silver glittering light forever reminding me that I am being held by my God, the ever shining presence that still remains beside me in all that I say and all that I do. The sparkle never fades. It is what illuminates my heart and soul and allows me to trust.

What a beautiful thought to place in the minds of people. This contest helped me to hold an image of my very own unique wings, something that had never entered my thoughts before and will definately never leave my thoughts from now on. Sorry this is so late

Wow, this is really beautiful. You've put a lot of thought into this, and it's an amazing image. Rather than focus on a colour you've looked into how clear and visible you are and I like that. Good work
