Fallen Chapter 1 Part 2

Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a girl in the distance. Right now she was to far away to tell who she was, but i was willing to wait and see if my friends had come along. I lean back lazily, stretching out over the steps. I close my eyes to the cold stone of the steps as I ponder who could be coming so early. It was barely late enough for the teachers to come.1

Before I knew it I could smell something remniscent of flowers. I opened my eyes a bit to see the girl before me, she was thin, tall for a girl. She wore a plain button up blouse with a long skirt, both in nearly brand new condition. He looked down at his own ripped ebony jeans, along with a tight T-shirt that failed to stop the cold. She stared at me with beautiful blue eyes that had odd specks of brown coming from the pupil. I had no idea how to describe those eyes of hers, reddish bangs, twisted with dark blackish color, falling in front of them. You could tell her hair was died because of the blonde roots peeking out. 2

For a long moment we just stared at each other, unsure of what to do. "Why are you here so early?" I murmurred, a monotone voice escaping thin lips. 3

She blinked for a moment as if coming out a trance before responding, "I'm not sure really. Why are you here so early?"4

I tilted my head at the turn of my own question. Shrugging and turning my face to look down the road from where she came I answered the question in the same toneless voice, "I always come here early..." My eyes go back to her without meaning to. She looked like a goddy goody, but what was up with that hair? It didn't make any sense to me at all.5

She stared back at me, right into my eyes. It made me feel odd inside. Of course I wan't big on contact with other people, but her eyes made me feel like she could see right through me, right down to the core. What did she see? I wondered that for a moment as I stared back at her with a blank expression.6

"So..." She said with a light note in her voice, not turning her eyes away from mine. "What's your name?"She asked witha soft smile coming to thin pink lips. Her lips parted to reveal white teeth. 7

"My name's Vincent." I whispered, barely audible. I turned my whole face to her, staring at her with confusion "Why?" I asked mumbling. "And what's yours?"8

She smiled a bit wider, "My names Crystal, and i'm asking because you seem interesting to me." She sat down next to me, a little to close for my likings, tilting he rhead a bit at me and staring at me with those eyes. She held her books on her lap, her nails painted a dark ebony. Everything about this girl seemed to contradict herself. I just turned my head away and ignored her for now. Together we waited for more people to arrive, sperating without goodbye's when school started.

Sorry it took so long, im just not into the writing right now. I dont know about the first person thing so if you dont like it tell me so i can change it because i dont know which im better at.
