Putting An End To the Madness chapter 1

Kassy Johanson slept uneasily while Mike, her boyfriend, snored beside her. The noises drove her absolutly insane. She slumped out of bed, and took a notebook out of her dresser drawer. This little notebook would contain all and everything that happened every day. As she sat on the bed, she wrote a nasty comment about Mike's snoring and then put the notebook back and tried to get some sleep. Kassy had no clue why she even started dating him... He had nasty manners, a snooty attitude and his snoring was just the worst. Maybe he was just so seductive, his  charm to get what he wanted...  Who knew? Who knew? And as she drifted off into a deep sleep, kept asking  herself the same thing over and over. 2

Mike awoke with a start with Kassy pulling the sheets off of him.6

" Get off your fat ass and get it to work!" Kassy was at the last straw with his procrastination, laziness and concete. He was never punctual and he never got up unless there was food on the table of the small apartment that they shared. He went to work for MacDonald's and she went to college getting a master's degree in martial arts. 8

Just her tuition alone took up about three-quarters of Mike's pay not to mention the food that is bought and the clothes that are washed. It occurred to her that she was WAY in over her head in debt. The phone rang and kassy picked up the phone as Mike left for work. 12

"Hello?"Kassy answered the phone throat still groggy.16

"Yes... why i know it is due tomarrow Mrs Jenkins but I still have to get to my 9:00 am classes. " Kassy hated giving Mrs. Jenkins excuses. They were all the same to her. and they never seemed to get her by. The rent was due tomarrow and she did need to get to her classes... Mike's check was just going to have to stretch a little further than usual. Ramen noodles and chips here we come...18
