My day at school by Tristy

Having absolutely no athletic talent, an okay brain, and plain looks either makes me stand out or be unseen. I only look forward to passing my classes and the vending machines-snacks are cute to look at and taste goooood! 1

We take off in the bus, brown backpack from roxy on my shoulder and the usual outfit of jeans and a t-shirt, I have to find an empty seat fast. Then after 30 long minutes we head to Slipper High.  Don't ask me on the name, the vice-principal is known to be sensitive on that.2

I head to math class, do a test, take notes, completely taken to the sunny air and how it reminds me of eating cookies at kindergarten class. So I think, if I can find three (magic number, huh) things I am happy about in high school, I will join a club. The moment happens again and now it's two more things. Oh joy.3

It is recess. I hurry and find the library and I drop my things. "Aiya!" I blush at my embarrassing sound and hurry to get my books I had to return. A girl helped me out and asked if I'm okay. I nod in affirmation and hurry to the library saying a quick thank you. I'm extremely shy and don't know what to talk about, well maybe this but I would sound weird. Thing two: kind people.4

I hurry and return my books and smile at everything. I pick a book, the bell rings, and I sigh and head to English. Nothing important enough happened until after school.5

I was heading out and then a classmate found me and gave me something-it was my i.d. I thought I had it. I say thank you. She told me I left it in the girl's restroom and comments on my fast walking. I smile, blushing, and say sorry. She says no sweat and hurries to her car. I hurry to the bus, but stayed behind and called my mom, I guess I'm heading to judo try-outs, then library, then art. I keep my promises. Thing two: determination.
