You Left Me

There were rules I set, rules you denied
And for that fact I could never abide
By the law of nature, by the law of man
It just perplexes me how it all began.1

Our love was forbidden, I never said
That I'd ever force you into the bed
But you said that you loved me, you said that you cared
It was mutual feeling that we both shared.2

Then something happened, something went wrong
We never had a chance to go out that long
But you simply left, abandoned me
Mutual love, but on the we didn't agree.
