vampires of DARK

the following are four vampire poems that i have done in a span of a couple of years from 2003-2005. they are in order from first to fourth. i have marked this work as adult due to part of the graphic nature in the third one. all of these are posted at allpoetry. three out of four have earned trophies. i hope if you're easily offended, then you better skip the one titled as "a DARK bite." there is a picture on my author's page that inspired that particular write (also influenced by the twisted turn in the movie "from dusk 'til dawn." another picture on my author's page inspired "to the DARKside." hope my writes are more enjoyable than not, DARK).1

night has fallen
as i walk the city stReets
no lights for illumination
just pure DARKness
i saw hEr eyes
in a distance
lookIng like that of a cat
she had me hypnotized
as i approached her
i slipped my arms around
this stranGer as if i knew her
a fire in my heart
loNging for passion
from her touch
we kIssed as we embraced
then my body tiNgled
felt her breath on my neck
it was so hot
then a piercing from her teeth
i felt blood
being sucked from my body
she gave me life
as she discarded my mortality
i felt a 100 times stronger
i now belong to the night
i still reign in DARKness
for i am now unstoppable
my power will be unmatched
she has cReated a firestorm
and i shall protEct her
for eternIty
i will only be her slave
everyone else i will control
for not even demons
can compare in strenGth
the devil bows at my existeNce
i am a prINce of DARKness
a ruler of shadows
the night has crowned me

there is a hidden message inside the poem as well that i don't think many have picked up on. it spells out the title a couple of times.

searching in the DARKness
for sultry sensuous lips
a soft shadowy touch
with a sweet sexy shape
she stands as a silhoette
under a silvery moon
tempting every man's desire
compelled to get closer20

my eyes caught in a trance
my body obeying her command
my soul lost to her control
my heart a beating drum
my lust for her i crave21

tightly in each others arms
in the still of DARKness
our bodies meshed as one
her eyes piercing me like a laser
her lips touch mine
i melt inside her22

she places her warm mouth
upon my tingly neck
her teeth strikes deep
sending numbness throughout
my body

there is a breaker in this poem. it separates it for a couple of reasons. the second part was written on another day. i also wanted it to be somewhat different as itz my third vampire poem. if you have ever seen the movie, "from dusk til dawn," then you know that itz about robbing and killing. next thing you know it takes an unexpected twist; it becomes a vampire movie. itz on my top 100 hundred list. i wrote the first portion of the poem to where it could be a love (lust) poem with the possibility of turning into something different (as it was my original intention). it was the reason why i left it for a day then came back to finish it. hope you enjoy it. if you get a chance, i would like your feedback after reading my other two (which can be found under the list 'DARKs vampires') and to let me know if indeed that i might be getting better at my vampire poems. yes, in each i always try to incorporate love/lust along with the bite.110

i have been wanting to write my third vampire poem for some time now, but was not energized to do so. then a poet that i never heard of fell in love with my other two vampire poems. i couldn't help but feel honored with her such enthusiasm, that i was inspired to write this poem. as a matter of fact she had written to me a story and i managed to use a couple of details in this poem as a dedication and tribute to her for the inspiration.111
