Haunted Flats.

"Mrs. Kritoff, you have be charged for ignoring the constant recommendations to make the subject, Kritoff Flats, safer." The court judge said, rustling a wad of paper.1

"David, please persuade her, I won't go to jail!" Mrs. Kritoff whispered to her lawyer.2

"You will be placed in house arrest in Kritoff Flats for 4 weeks." The Judge shouted. At that the jury to the left started talking rapidly. "Order! Order!" The Judge screamed, banging her mini-hammer on the pedestal. "What do you have to say for yourself, Vera Kritoff?" The Judge asked when the court quitend. 3

"Please, don't make me, I'll sort it out the minute I get out please!" Vera shouted.4

"Anymore pleading and it will be 15 weeks!" The Jugde exclaimed, in his heavy black accent. "You will leave tomorrow!" The Judge said, fiddling with his powdered wig.5

The next day, it was a misty, frosty day, typical to East London. Vera Kritoff stepped through the mist, her van some way behind. Her lawyer was next to her, carrying a briefcase of videos and dvd's so Vera won't get bored. "Do I have to go in David?" Vera asked shivering in the cold, and shivering at the hands of fear.6

"Yes." He replied simply.7

Vera of course got the biggest room in the flat, yet the floorboards were infested with termites. She was alone, sitting in her king sized bed, watching tv. When everything went black and deathly quiet, Vera huddled in her duvet, hoping that the lights will turn on soon, when suddenly a tall, dark figure came up to Vera, and Vera screamed, she turned, and saw a baby in a crib, crying as rats surrounded the poor thing then it disappered and the lights turned back on.8

Vera did not sleep well.
