Dear Love (Installment 1)

Dear Sir,1

There are things one's heart tries to tell them that one misses in chaos. My dear, my heart screams so loudly for you, I could hear it above all the noise in the world. It screams and cries and wants. 2

Day for day I walk in black and white, for when you left, you stole my color. I can get along without it, but just barely. Even so, I would forever let you have it. Hear me now: my world is not complete without you in it.3

I look back on our lives as we lived them before: young, foolish, naïve, and in love. Though our love was virgin, it was also pure. Pure as the snow that has driven me indoors. 4

I pray our love will forever remain as pure as that first glance we shared.5

Forever Yours,6

Dear Sir,8

Your words, so tender, envelope me in an embrace all the stronger with your distance. I feel that if here, your grasp would smother me. 9

Your words tell of a strength I have not yet found. Tell me your secret so I may share in your strength, for I can't imagine another day without you here. 10

I take great comfort in knowing that you remain sound. If you are well, nothing can be wrong with me. 11

With an Eternal Love,12

Dear Sir,14

I find on this day I am refusing to wait for a response. My passion is impatient. There are lapses of time when I find myself not in the present, but instead in your arms. So many times I see the us from long ago. I wrap myself in memories, but I find they do not keep me as warm as I would like. Still, as this is all I have, I will not give them up.15

I hear an ancient laughter. Once it filled my ears, and I responded vivaciously. Now it resounds in my heart and I smile to myself. This laughter is my secret, one not meant for anyone else. It is your laughter. I would willingly send you all the laughter my life will produce, if only to hear one seconds worth of mirth escape from your lips. The sound is more precious than all the world has to offer, and I have the fortune of holding it in my heart.16

I yearn for the day you return to me, and I can envelope myself in your laughter once again.17

With a Love That is Tender and True,18

Dear Sir,20

Dreams have begun to haunt me. I cannot escape my yearning for you in my sleep even! I am possitive there is only one cure for this disturbing sorrow. You must come home.21

I see you as my saving grace, my only hope, for you are more than just my love, you are my life. The very ground could crumble beneath my feet, but as long as you were mine, I would live. 22

Every moment you are away you owe me back when we are united.23

Our love was meant to be lived. Return my life to me soon, my sweet.24

Dear Sir,27

I have just watched the clock put one more minute behind it. I wish days were more like clocks. The hands revisit the same beautiful numbers again and again. The numbers never change, the hands never change. There is a rhythm to clocks.28

I find every second away from you a moment lost. I pray I will not be lost forever.29

Rapturously,30
