Part Time Criminal

(Man walks into a dimly lit room, other man bound and gagged on the floor in a suit)1

(john babbles, he is scared, shakes, and uncomfortable, he is an insecure person, and knows what he is doing is wrong.)2

John: I’m sorry, but I have to do this. You were in the way, and I had to do something. (feelings change into anger)(pause) She loves me not you! All you did was ruin it for us. You came in my way, with your (mocking) money and fancy cars, and expensive rings. I was engaged to her! And you came along….but she loves me, she does you know, she’s just confused. Do you see what you’ve done! God! You could have had any girl you wanted, but why my girl. I love her! And you, you treat her like shit, she deserves better then you, and…and that’s me. She deserves me and I deserve her! Yeah that’s right, we where made for each other. Plus you don’t know anything about her, her likes or dislikes. She shouldn’t marry you, she should marry me, and we will get married, and live happily ever after, just like in the fairly tales. So I’m really doing this for both of us, for me and…and Mary. Yeah for both of us.3

An outlaw! And its all your fault.(points gun) See what you’ve done, I hate you!!! You’ve ruined me, and now, now the best thing to do is... yes I have no choice. (points gun at the bound and gagged man) See what you’ve made me do! No I can’t do it! (Rests hand with gun on his head, and for a moment thinks of taking his own life). Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!6
